That's nice of you to say Don. Thanks. Like all dads I'm proud of my kids. And relieved -- he made it to Lexington without a problem, and has even made contact with the local franchise of the moving company he worked for here and will pick up a couple shifts this weekend.

It is currently 74°F and we will get up to 90°F. We have a 40% chance of rain and yes the humidity will be high. Sauna bath levels. Speaking of humidity AustinTXCat is right about humidity down here and if you can't take it you will be miserable. Or stay inside all the time. I was raised in it before air conditioning but when you don't have something or know what it is you don't miss it. If you took AC out of Florida you would see 20,000,000 people get out of here.
I like to sweat and 95% humidity is comfortable to me. My wife says I have alligator blood and she does not like hot weather. I imagine If I die before she does she is headed back to Kentucky. Trust all have a good day today and stay cool.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 80°F. We'll probably catch another 100°F+ day again today. Except for 1 day, the rest have all been over one-hundred so far this month. We could hopefully see some relief soon in the form of weekend showers.

Found a quarter earlier this morning. Life is good.
Duane may have been the best guitar player of all time. He is at least top 5, along with Clapton, Hendrix, Vaughn.

Hey there! Played golf yesterday morning and then came home and went straight to the workshop. Many beers later my wife came home and made me come inside.
Went to the course this morning for a cup of coffee and ended up playing 18 with a guy for his birthday. Sure did get hot out there after 2.
Ben, I have to play golf here on the 2 of Oct. The 3 I may have to figure up the scores and teams. Looks like Oct 1 will be the best day of the 3 for me.
Since I first learned about him in 1979 I've thought that Al Di Meola was the best guitarist. Paco de Lucia and John McLaughlin are right there with him.
No one ever mentions Mark Knopler either. Oh well, the best guitarist is probably someone who was always a session musician and we don't know his name. Roy Clark, Chet Atkins, and Glen Campbell never get their due because they were country music I guess.

The day Gregg died I felt like I lost a member of my family.
Had a guy come into my office yesterday yelling at one of my co-workers because he used an ellipsis to end his sentence in an email.. He (my co-worker) was requesting the correct orders for a soldier to get his travel to next duty station. The irate guys was angry and shaking telling my co-worker that the use of three periods to end the sentence meant that he was yelling and cursing him. I came out of my area of the office to try and calm him down. He explained that in his circles three dots means you are calling him an inept ass. I looked at him and then at my co-worker and ask if that is what he meant. He of course said no and that he had no clue what this guy was talking about. I told the guy it was an ellipsis and did not have a derogatory meaning. He then said that he was a PC guy and that in the PC world that is what it meant. I stopped him right there and said that we do not do PC in our office and know nothing about PC meanings. Told him that it was simply a misunderstanding by him and to just let it go and we would as well. He sort of agreed and walked out mumbling something under his voice... what is the world coming to?.

I had to walk up from the parking garage this morning. There was human excrement on the sidewalk the whole way. I walked in the street. Our mayor should be so ashamed at this horrible sight. Atlanta is the Capitol City of Georgia. Sanctuary City. Shameful.
I saw him and Miss Vicki get married. Might have been on a Tonight Show.
