Happy birthday and welcome to 76. We are special. Save us a piece of cake
- Good Morning, Y'all.
- Another Friday. Time is aflying.
- 64º in Johns Creek. Nice day. VFR. No clouds.
- Today is my 76th birthday. Unbelievable. How can I be this damn old?
- BLM should give safe-shooting lessons to the citizens so that they don't kill innocent bystanders while they are trying to murder each other. We have no law and order.
- Be safe folks.
- Get well sick ones.
- As you were.
- Carry on.
I remember when this song first came out. I was young. Now I can relate to every word of it. Times as flown by and we have seen a lot of changes over the years. Some good and some not so good.
Today is my 76th birthday.
700 bucks for this beauty at my local dealer. Wish I had a need.
This stuff excites me. Will I live long enough to witness it?Optimized for the infrared light spectrum it will be capable of seeing the luminous glow of the Big Bang, the formation of the first galaxies in the early universe, along with forming planetary systems among other things. It is a big sucker at 6.5 meters or 21 feet.It will see far beyond the observational capabilities of Hubble.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY THE DON! Hope you have plenty of Cannoli's.

Bert I was over at the Space Center this weekend and they said the telescope will be up by 2021. The life expectancy is 5 years but they want to get 10 years service out of it.This stuff excites me. Will I live long enough to witness it?

Nice! I've got a 2230B. Very similar. I can't tell if that's a Dynaco but it very well could be. A lot of preamps had that look back then.I own this baby. Is that a Dynaco pre-amp below it.
This will work and we can have room to grow our band.
Tragic. A neighbor of mine lost his grandson earlier this year to a heroin overdose. He obviously didn't take it well.Happy Birthday Don. I read somewhere that 76 is the new 75, so don't sweat it. But I suspect all us D-Leaguers can identify. It sure seems to be going fast.
A high school girlfriend lost a son this week to the drug scourge that is still ravaging Kentucky. That's had my thoughts firmly back in a small Kentucky town during a certain summer in the early 1970s when we were young and innocent and filled with life's magic, and there was no horizon out there we could see.
But lots of good times ahead for all of us. Hell, I'm looking forward to getting up in the Shenandoah hills this weekend, and having a few beers in a country tavern in a West Virginia town that feels a bit like Kentucky. Have a great day, D-Leaguers.

Some of the Dynaco equipment is fetching a pretty penny these days, especially the tube stuff.I used to have a 120 watt Dynaco system. Amp, preamp and tuner. They sold you a kit and you got to build it.
It is true for me.
My goodness.

Godfather.Leave the gun. Bring the cannolis.
It is true for me.
I was born and raised in Kentucky. Then lived in North Carolina, then back to Kentucky, then Florida, then Indiana, then Texas, then Maryland, then Florida again so when I retired my ass was back in Kentucky in three months (it takes a long time to sell an expensive home) otherwise I would have been back that month.
