I was soooo happy & proud when the Hackett family came to share their love, hugs & prayers.
What'd I ever do to you for you to hate me so? If I were a 1-iron, I could understand. Lee Trevino said that even God can't hit a 1-iron.
College football - 1 month away.
YES YES YES
And I'm for that.
Go ahead and put me down . . . as antsy.
Dammit.Just saw where where our most experienced safety is out for the season. Dammit!
Wildcats junior safety Davonte Robinson is out for the season with a right quadriceps injury that will require surgery, the school announced Thursday.
The Lexington native and Henry Clay product saw action in all 13 games last season with three starts, making 42 tackles including 3.0 for loss with four pass breakups and two fumble recoveries.
It sure seems that way.Someone gets hurt every year just before the season starts. Maybe that's not a true statement, but it feels that way.
Well crap.Just saw where where our most experienced safety is out for the season. Dammit!

If you like telescopes you have to be excited about the James Webb scheduled to launch into orbit early 2021. I saw a model of it at the Space Center and they say it has a 21 foot mirror and will be set in orbit 1,000,000 miles from earth. Four times further than our moon. It will blow the Hubble out of the water.Looking forward to looking through the telescopes tomorrow night. The temps/humidity should be comfortable ant Nolin. And the moon won't look like a massive spotlight.
Absolutely! That will be taking us DEEP into space. I can't wait to see the images that will be coming in from it.If you like telescopes you have to be excited about the James Webb scheduled to launch into orbit early 2021. I saw a model of the Webb Telescope at the NASA Moon-plus-50 thing last week. And I watched a short video on its construction and deployment. It all seemed about twice as complicated as the Apollo moon missions, which I guess is why we're about 30 years since it was initially conceived. https://webbtelescope.org/webb-science/the-webb-mission/mission-timeline Watching the video gives you immense respect for the engineering involved, and some nervousness about how well it'll work. Still won't find God until they look for him in his letter to us.If you like telescopes you have to be excited about the James Webb scheduled to launch into orbit early 2021. Going to the drive-in tonight. Double feature. Toy Story 4 and the new Lion King. Wow. Usually only like one of the 2 but these 2 are huge hits at our house. FCC.
700 bucks for this beauty at my local dealer. Wish I had a need.
Agreed! Wife would disagree though. She actually has been quite patient with my vintage audio addiction. There is always a need.
Nothing like OLD SCHOOL sound!700 bucks for this beauty at my local dealer. Wish I had a need.

I'm not directing this at anyone...it's just how I view things I guess.Still won't find God until they look for him in his letter to us.
Nothing to like about this. Hate hearing it. Please get well soon.Just saw where where our most experienced safety is out for the season. Dammit!

Are you doing your usual thing and sneaking the kids in by putting them in the trunk?
Oh no, don't get me wrong. I agree completely with this. Every thing in the universe had to start somewhere and no one knows what is beyond the singularity before the big bang that some scientist believe started every where instead just one singular point. Which by the way has me questioning where is every where? We really know little about whats in our own backyard including many of the deepest parts of the ocean much less, the universe..I'm not directing this at anyone...it's just how I view things I guess.
I love astronomy...I love it. But I look at it as a tool that God has given us to gaze at His wonder and greatness...I really do. Astronomers have been trying to see all the way back to the Big Bang (which I have no issue with) but there will always be that...WHAT created the Big Bang? Anyways, I've never had a problem with my belief in God and the wonders that I get to see through astronomy. God gave us a brain to learn with and expand.
