Home Depot sells wood stretchers. Surprised you don't have one as handy as they are.
Yeah, they were giving them away last week as a gift but I opted for the sky hook. Thought it might come in more handy.

Today is my wife's birthday. 74. She went out to collect all the free goodies restaurants give out on your birthday. She stuffed herself and brought me home a free $9 Firehouse sub.

And...let me add..Denver is the Rockies version of Washington DC. I hate that so many people from California have migrated to Colorado. I'm sure someone will pounce on that statement but I don't care. I've been to CO enough to see the change in Colorado from the Cali's.

I was first in Colorado in the late 1970s, and already people were lamenting the “Cali-Fornicating” of the Denver-Boulder area. I am probably going to rent Bohemian Rhapsody again today. I like the ending. Then I will go to UTube and watch the real ending. It was incredible how true to the concert the movie was.

Glad I left Seattle in the 80's before it got too extreme. That city is dying on the vine and is in need of a major overhaul.

I'll leave my ranting for the politics thread if I decide it is worth it. But I do note that when a company like Nike lets someone like Colin Kaepernick force them to withdraw millions of dollars of product and destroy it because it has the Betsy Ross 13-stars flag that has been a symbol of patriotism since the first Fourth of July, we've officially entered the twilight zone.

Any company who would let a person like Kaepernick determine their marketing strategy, deserves what they get. That is why I don't buy anything from Nike.
That and the homelessness problem is beyond out of control. It was bad enough when I lived there over 30 years ago and is now many, many times worse.
The election of Kyrsten Sinema, a liberal kook, to the Senate, is proof of that. That John McCain and Jeff Flake felt free to become RINOs was also a sign.

Stunning Sawnee. I lived in Florida for a couple years in the late 1970s, early 1980s, first in Pompano Beach then in the Boca Raton area (off Glades Road if you have been down there.) In the end, it wasn't for me. I missed being able to drive up into the hills. But I do recall some scenes, especially down in the Keys, that were so beautiful it made your heart ache with all sorts of emotions.
He gives me a pain I can't locate.
Lots of people like to shoot off their guns during the July 4th week. A reminder if you are in Levy County, they frown on shooting from the road. So watch it. Now I don't think Dixie County has any such ordinance.
