After modified workout this morning I will go after the large mouths today, No, not the liberals on the political thread though hooking a few of them and moving them to a sewage backwash reservoir would be appropriate. I'm talking about a more acceptable large mouth. Ones that actually contribute to our society.

Good morning D woke up way to early 1:00 this morning! Mrs. M already gone to help my D-I-L with yard sale, then may have to make a trip to Clarksville Tenn. to get a water heater! WC go git dem dar bass and good luck! Ya'll have a great and safe day!!!! Going to make a Blueberry pie today to take to our family cookout today, they are so good!!!!

Ours is well over 20 years old. Looking at a new, tank-less model soon.

<- - - - showering on borrowed time with current unit.

Ours is probably that old as well but it is electric. I'm also thinking about going tankless when the time comes. Read quite a bit about them while researching for my wet bar.

I've got a great Memorial Day in store. A day with Bert and Sherry bookended by two nice long drives in the country. I'll pass over I-65 twice but that's as close as I'll get to being on it.

Hope everyone enjoys their day in whatever enjoyable fashion they enjoy.

See ya this evening!

Good morning on this Memorial Day of 2019

Just got back from outside and the thermometer said 74 degrees and the girl on the radio just said today it will get up to 88 in the afternoon. Sunny skies and pollen levels are high today. The water is calm with slight wave action, nothing stirring up in the Gulf. Should be a very good day for fishing.

Speaking of water heaters we went solar about 4 years ago and it has worked out nicely. This sun will keep the water hot, hot, hot. I have solar for the pool and water heater.

Going to be a great day with family and friends. Plenty of good food and fellowship. Have a great day all.

My son has a tankless and hates it!!

Got home yesterday about 6:30. The downstairs AC unit is not working and one of the furnaces is also kaput. $9,000 for 2 AC units and one furnace. QB handled the whole deal while I was gone. Sad.

My cousin was sick the whole weekend. Chills, no fever. Hate it for him.

My old Uncle will be 94 soon. My Aunt is 90. They are so sweet.

They are taking down Granddaddy's barn. Sad. He built that barn in 1945. My daddy painted it red in 1946.

380 miles frrom us.

Man places like that have so much history!!!! Those are the places I like to take my metal detector to!!!!! I like talking history with the first hour or ever how long it takes to just set and talk then on with the hunt!!!! I always tell the owners I will show them what ever I find they can have, their response 99% of the time is just keep it, because if you hadn't found it, it would still be in the ground!!!!!

I hate getting my AC worked on or anything else for that matter, because finding a trustworthy repairman is hard. Last Fall we had one trying to tell us that it probably needed a compressor or something, and that he would have to come back another day to run more tests on it. I told my wife that since it was freezing up at night and not getting all that cold, that it probably just needed freon. Well we decided to wait until Spring to get it fixed(didn't really need it fixed in late Fall) and decided to go with another company this time. Low and behold, he comes out and says it's just needs 2 pounds of freon, and it's worked better than ever since.

Keep in mind. Some will tell you its low on Freon and it just happens over time...THATS BULLSHIT...Freon is low ONLY because of a leak or it was not properly charged ...Freon never just gets low. The game there is the customer says ok on it being low, they top it off usually because it's cheaper than the actual repair..IE 2 pounds cost anywhere from 200.00 to 300.00 for R22 versus an additional cost for the repair..(funny it only cost about 18.00 a pound for them to buy) then hope they get the future call back to "top it off"again or repair as they should have done the first time they were there. Now some repairmen will be honest up front but the Freon gets low over time is the classic rip off

Does his run on electric, or natural gas? I have heard that you don't want one that is electric, but mine runs on natural gas, and I cannot be happier. Cannot go back to a tank once I have had tankless. We have a two person jacuzzi in the master bath, and you would need a 75 gal tank just for it. Mine is an 8 gpm Rinnai and I can run the hot water in two showers and the dish washer at the same time, go on vacation, and when I return home, the water is still running hot. Haven't had the first second of problem. I highly recommend one.

90º here in Johns Creek. It has been hot this afternoon.
We made it up to 88 but a strong wind from the Gulf kept it pleasant and some times cool in the pool. It was a perfect day and a day of reflection for family members gone home. I might watch Saving Private Ryan tonight. My wife does not like the first scenes so she might have to leave the room for a few minutes. Her father was in some rough action during WWII and we both lost kinfolk. So war movies are not her cup of tea. But it is Memorial Day I tell her.

Her daddy was a sniper in the South Pacific. He was a Kentuckian and excelled in marksmanship in basic and advanced infantry training. So much so that they sent him to sniper school. He came back a shaken man and turned to alcohol.

I have a tankless and cannot imagine how I survived without one.

OK, that helped.

Home again from another wonderful trip to see Bert and Sherry. Couldn't ask for better hosts or friends. Love you guys! I ate too much. Still full and it's 3 hours later.

Bert makes an awesome steak. Doubt you'd find a better one home made.
