Just watched UK win their 24th National Championship for cheerleading. Wasn't even close either. Also watched the UK softball team lose.
Had me laughing and I said out loud "Ain't that the truth". My wife said what? I showed her the picture and she threw a dog bone at me.
Happy Memorial Day weekend Bert. You have a very rich heritage and people like those in your blood line made America.78.1°F and it going to be a sunny hot day. The pig roast starts at 5:00pm and it is going to be fun.
I loved the "on line" fish cartoon and the "toilet seat" cartoon. Instantly laughed.
You all enjoy you Memorial Day weekend. Decoration day for my family was always the last Sunday in May and we went to many cemeteries to place flowers on family graves. The big adventure was getting to the Higginbotham-Buckingham cemetery. It is locked out by Mammoth Cave Park and subsequent de-development. It was an adventure to get that. Today it is possible to get there with a Humvee and a chain saw. https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/2243320/memorial-search?firstName=&lastName=higginbotham
When you find him, tell Johnny Boy I said hello and Saint Peter ain't letting him through that gate.I hope you all in D League are having a pleasant and restful Memorial Day weekend. My son had to work so we postponed the Arlington Cemetery trip until tomorrow.
Just got an email from a buddy of mine in Texas who is a combat veteran from Vietnam. He was inviting me on a road trip to California to look up John Walker Lindh. I didn’t need to ask for what purpose. I don’t think he was serious. But i can’t say for sure.
I have found two in the last two years. Liquor Barn restricts me to one bottle when they have them. Liquor Barn says the Japanese love Blantons.A few weeks ago I was in Kentucky and was asked to pick up a bottle of Blanton's. I searched and called most every store in Lexington and Richmond without success. Today I found it less than a mile from my house. Just goes to show you never can tell.
Sawnee are Kentucky bluegill and Florida brim the same.
That piece of shit needs it beaten out of him. There is no reason for scum like that to be allowed to live in our country. Send his Mo loving ass to some middle eastern shit hole country where he can enjoy his damned religion. When you find him, tell Johnny Boy I said hello and Saint Peter ain't letting him through that gate.
Here is Ymmot's ancestor:
I would think they are in the same family or species. A couple of other pan frying fish similar are shellcrackers and sunfish some call bream.Sawnee are Kentucky bluegill and Florida brim the same.

I think a brim may have been the first fish I caught as a kid. Daddy would catch a wash tub full of them and we would have a fish fry for as many people as wanted to come. Just show up hungry.
The man told me he may get in two or 3 bottles every month of so. He does not display it on the shelf. I got mine by asking and he said he had one and it was under the cash register. The only way you know if they have it is to ask. I bet a lot of stores operate the same way.I have found two in the last two years. Liquor Barn restricts me to one bottle when they have them. The European Bream mentioned and shown in that article looked similar to Drum, a rather nasty fish I have caught on occasion here in Oklahoma.

I probably tasted drum as a boy but it is a fish we always tried to stay away from. There were too many better tasting and less nasty fish around to fool with them.
This is a nice beach day.Good afternoon! Seems like I've been busy all morning but I don't have a lot to show for it.
I did get the grass mowed front and back, so there's that.
I went and got some 4x4's to make the door frames out of. They look rough right now but they'll come along nicely once I hit em with the sander.
Also picked up some light bulbs for a 6 light stringer I'm putting in the top of the porch near the house. I can space them and light up the entire area nicely, I think.
My wife is on the beach today in SC. I'm fine right where I'm at doing just what I'm doing. And beer.
They say these go real good with a cold beer.Got that stringer of lights hung up. Looks good and is a nice little addition that I hadn't counted on.
It's about 1700 so I'm going to call it a day. Still have to go out and close everything up. Might go ahead and hang out in the shop until late. Classic rock, cold beer, comfortable chair. There's a good breeze blowing that's hitting my double doors just perfect for flow through ventilation.
See you cats on the flip side!
Yeah that was really tragic. If I recall correctly he died a day or two after the NBA draft.Just back from moving my middle daughter home - she graduated from University of Maryland Friday, as did her mother about 30 years ago. We stopped into a bar called Bentley’s where my daughter has been working - ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt once gave her a $50 tip. Among other artifacts: a signed Len Bias Jersey. When I was new to the DC area I was going out with a woman who had close-in Maryland seats and I can remember seeing Bias play against Michael Jordan. Talk about seeming like another lifetime.
Oops sorry. Congrats to your daughter!Just back from moving my middle daughter home - she graduated from University of Maryland Friday, as did her mother about 30 years ago. Thanks 82 - and no worries. Yeah he died the night after Boston selected him. It was an incredible shock, especially for people living near the campus.Oops sorry. Congrats to your daughter!
Germans love Makers. Every trip over I carry a couple small bottles. Give them away. One of these days, I'll travel over with a bunch of small bottles, hang out in Sweden (not Sweeden, KY), and sell them.I have found two in the last two years.
