Good Sunday morning D - League
Woke up to a nice day ahead with current temperature of 68 and a high this afternoon at 92. Very pleasant weather with plenty of sunshine.
Lots of Memorial Day festivities around the area the next couple of days. Should be perfect weather for it. Time to get ready for church services this morning and I am looking forward to it. All is quiet on the football recruiting front but I expect some good news the next couple of weeks with some high ranked commitments.

Got new burners put into the gas grill. Everything worked well. I now need to order the metal drip strips. Ymmot's steak will be the last cooked on the old metal drip strips.
Congrats to your daughter MD. I remember when my last one graduated. Big financial lift. She attended Kentucky while we were living in Maryland and Florida. Sherry and I became rich after that with no $1,100 a month going out for college tuition.

Bert, I spoke with my cousin who lives on Nolin Lake in Grayson Co. yesterday. He said so many folks were visiting the lake over Memorial Day weekend that local cell towers experienced problems processing all the traffic. For example, I texted him pictures and these photos were not received until about 20 minutes later.
He also said temperatures were in the 90s, just like here. Wow.
Went fishing for about 2 hours because wife and daughter want to go shopping and do lunch so, I came back early. Warrior-Cat 2, Large Mouth's 1. One was about a pound but, the one pictured below a might bigger. Rubber boots size 11 for perspective.

Ok D, I am having water heater problems. Pilot light won't stay lit. Question it is 11 years old, get a new one or have it repaired? I think new one.
New, just replaced mine about 2 months ago and it was about 10 years old.
New. Getting 11 years out of a water heater is pretty good.

Ours is well over 20 years old. Looking at a new, tank-less model soon.

I'd turn it off, but I'm also a worry-wart when it comes to natural gas. Our stove, dryer, heater and water heater are all natural gas models.
