You might not too.Stop by whenever you can. You are missed.
You have to marinate deer steaks if you're going to cook them like that. No fat.
I might spend the night.

Sunday is fine with me. You have to preach to BKO, Ymmot and me.Monday 26th can work. Please let me know by tomorrow. Sunday is better.
Sunday is fine with me too. Probably more traffic on I65 on Sunday but I'm coming in on the back road.
My mother passed in 2012 but I remember one very important Thanksgiving dinner more than others. While deployed in the gulf awaiting the ground war in Saudi, we (our unit) had Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings however, making sure my troops and the others ate first, the only thing left over when I got to the field mess hall was hamburgers and hot dogs. The same happened with Christmas dinner and New Years. After the war was over, we returned in April 1991 to Ft. Sill OK. and were granted a few weeks leave. Coming back to Kentucky was a surprise for me. My mother had remembered my letters of missing my favorite Holiday meal and had it prepared when I got home with a lot of family members in attendance. The best ever no matter the time of year, I miss her.It has been over 10 years since I had thanksgiving dinner with my mother but the memories are ever present. My mother was very creative and an excellent seamstress. She loved making holiday spirit clothing for me and to my embarrassment sending me off to school. When I was in the first grade she dressed me up as a "pilgrim" and sent me off to school with a few of my buddies. I felt like crawling into a hole. But this is what mother's did in 1949.

Just let me know tomorrow or, latest, Friday. I'm somewhat flexible. Need to visit an Army buddy and my cousin in middle TN one of those days. I fly back Tuesday out of ATL (Catlanta).Sunday is fine with me too. Probably more traffic on I65 on Sunday but I'm coming in on the back road.
Sunday works better for me actuallyIt's fine with Bert and I. We'll have to see about Bev. Only problem is that Bert won't be able to drink bourbon on Sunday. That's the day he drinks scotch.
Sunday it is. What time Austin?Sunday works better for me actually
Monday I wouldn’t have been able to make it for sure
Sunday depends on the time
I understand and when God created mothers it was well done. You life changes forever once you lose a parent, especially a mother. This is the time of year I miss mine the most and I miss her every day.My mother passed in 2012 but I remember one very important Thanksgiving dinner more than others. Typing this was hard....tears followed.

When I was that age there is no way, not none, that my mother would have let me hold a turkey that she had cooked and intended on feeding to people. She would have said something like "why don't I just take it and roll it around in the dirt myself?"Happy day before Thanksgiving. I am wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving a little early because tomorrow I will probably not be near a computer. The picture below was taken on Thanksgiving Day 1949. Mom made my little pilgrim costume out of black scraps of cloth and cardboard. The hat and buckles were cardboard and buckles were wrapped with aluminum foil. The white trim was a cloth she had on the coffee table. We didn't have much money in those days but we sure had fun. To be honest I didn't want to smile for that picture because my school friends had been teasing me about being a Pilgrim and living on a wooden boat. But I survived.

Don't wanna be the fifth wheel...but just out of curiosity how far a drive from Evansville is it?
Guess I'll watch the game while I'm working...if I get the opportunity of course.
Did not listen to Jones or pre-game but I am ready. I have my corn chips and salsa and a few other snacks laid out. My wife is at Publix so I have the house to myself. I can crank up the sound and rattle the windows. Life is goodBeen listening to the Jones show and pregame. I'm ready for basketball action now. I do not want to hear Rex talk about anything. Nothing. I especially don't require his insight into the psyche of an 18 year old. I was an 18 year old just as long as he was.
Tom Payne was paroled yesterday from prison, again. Why don't we bring him in to do commentary and tell us the finer points of playing college basketball in 2018.
Went out with Dad today. Last Tuesday he dropped his lower denture and broke it in half. We were at VA on Wednesday and I took it around to dental and they repaired it while we went to his appointment. Called me yesterday and he had broke it again. Took it back there today but the guy who does that stuff is off for the week. I ended up super gluing it together. I guess it worked out because we tested it with a brisket sammich from Arby's and it held together.
I'll send VA an invoice.
Supposed to be around 40° Saturday night for the game with light wind and a small chance of rain. Not too bad. If we're kicking ass at halftime then I'll stay and watch it happen, but if we're up by 3 or 6, then I'm outta there at the half.
Enjoying the offensive effort so far
I should be able to make it Sunday. Would it be appropriate to bring Rob? Either way will head out after church
LolI'm sure Rob would be tempted to slug some of those guys (just out of principle) - and who could blame him.
