Finally a brilliant, crisp sunny weekend. My wife, daughter and family are taking me out to lunch at my favorite restaurant for my birthday. I'm healthy, and after my run this morning I was only one pound over my college playing weight. So, life is good.

If I recall correctly you were a 350 pound offensive lineman. Congrats.

Oh ... I am only one pound over the playing weight of both myself and my best friend.

Look at a MacBook Pro refurb.

Nope, no apple for me. Got another HP like the one I had. Keyboard is the same and will support my typing speed. The main difference in this and the model from 3 years ago is this one has a solid state hard drive. No more moving parts to stop moving.

Went to see Dad today for a few hours. He's doing good and the doctor said the only reason he's in the ICU is because they only move one person a day from there and they moved someone else already. Said he should go home on Tuesday. Looking forward to it.

• The Cats got over the hump. The Big Boy Defense showed up last night. We are getting lots of good press. I wish our passing attack was better. Our ground game is good. SC put 8 in the box the 2nd half so we couldn't run it.
• A&M will be the best team that we have played, but it should be a very close game in a hostile environment.
• My hat is off to you guys that are losing weight. I weigh 228. That is about 48 pounds over-weight.
  
• Bought an official Big Green Thermometer today. That sucker cost $38.99. Ouch. I wanted it to be official. My very first egg was brown. I bought a used one that someone had traded in.
  
• What did you do 36 years ago? And can you prove it? Hell, to tell you the truth ......... I doubt that I can remember. What a crock!!!
• I had a little red car ignore my blinker and cut me off. I blew my horn at him excessively and he wanted to fight me. What a turd!

• For the next six months we should have some very pleasant weather as we enter the tail end of hurricane season with moderate temps ahead.
• Our Cats took care of business we should be in good shape for Texas A&M
• Coffee is extra good this morning having beat the Game Cocks and enjoying a pleasant Sunday.
• My grapefruit tree was so loaded with fruit a limb snapped because of the weight. I will inspect the trees and try to prevent that from happening again. Sometimes it can't be helped.

Took wife to ham days / apple festivals Saturday topped off with UK winning AND the tards losing, and finally a super good rib eye dinner.
Yesterday closed the pool, got grass mowed. Was going to buy me a new weber grill, but since mine still looked really good I chose to replace burners, flavor bars, and new cast iron grates. got that done yesterday as well. My weber back in new condition
Both sheps to the vet today, thats always an adventure.
Not much else is shakin...Life is good..

Hello. I don't know if I'll try to post during the game. My computer died last night and it's taken me about 5 minutes to type this on the computer I borrowed from Dad.

Cock-a-doodle doo from Az. I understand totally. Cox cable's system upgrading Saturday knocked out my home internet. connection. Cable reception is improved, so the games were great. With Rosa it could be a week or 10 days to deal with because of work priorities. The sub-tropical Lower Sonora desert floor appears about 50% standing water this morning. Washes (usually dry stream beds) are flowing. A Pacific low pressure trough moving through tomorrow will bring more rain and create some flash flooding concerns but as things dry out later this week, life will return to normal. I'll lurk some from work but won't be posting much until the home network connectivity is restored, maybe a week or so. Miss the camaraderie.
