D-League

Morning D. There is a spider - relatively huge, a solid 1.75 inches across, black with golden spots, that has spun a web directly over my front door.

So, no problem, whack it with a broom and move on. Except - this same spider was on the side of the house for a few weeks and my wife has been watching it, and eventually grew fond of it. She's documenting it's Charlotte-like journey on Facebook.

So I can't even get in and out of my house normally. I'm a backdoor only man for now, so to speak.

You're not on the menu and you're safe as long as you don't grab and try to restrain. She will only defend herself if threatened. Bite is mildly irritating like a bee sting. She's vulnerable to winter temps so she'll be gone soon enough.

That is it, without a doubt Rooster. I wasn't worried about being consumed. But I'll be happy to regain use of my front door.
