Been a busy couple of days
We got a social call from our SIT today...he sounded AWESOME. Then a second call came where he tried to tell us his company and platoon but it was so fast it was hard to get the info. Luckily there is a Facebook group who is able to get the info for us; the only company filled today was B Co. 1/48. And only those sorted into that company we’re able to have their phones to call
Didn’t catch the platoon but DIL will be receiving a letter with that

A win is a win is a win. I'll take it. I was quite pleased with the defense. We'll see how they do next week. Potent trio of running backs. Wilson will be the QB for the season IMO.

And there it goes. I'll have to say, the plays they reviewed in our game today were done quickly and accurately. I did think on that one fumble that forward progress had been stopped and the whistle should have been blown. I don't think that one was reviewed though.

28-0 Bama. Louisville might score in the fourth because Saban will take out his good players and put in the freshmen. That will almost even it out with UL. Alabama will still be better, but UL might have a chance to score.
So we're watching this game and the mascot is on my tv. I told my wife that there is no way I could be happy about a bird with teeth. I'm not even happy with a wildcat that looks like a staple puller. Anyway, I started naming off better names for them. The front runners so far are, Scallywags, Heathens, and Guttersnipes.

51-14 a thorough, but not complete ass whooping. L's down scored a touchdown late in the fourth when the only player on the field you've heard of is Matt Jones and he's not the one you know. The previous touchdown was given to them with about 80 yards of penalties against Bama. One when Louisville was at 3rd and 37.

First week of college football and we didn’t learn a lot new: PAC-12 is still not a title contending conference, SEC is still the best conference, Kentucky will struggle to win more than three conference games, Texas is still not ready to return to the elite, Jim Harbaugh has not, and may never, win an important college game, and Alabama is on a different level than everyone else.
UK didn't look great all day, but they showed glimmers of hope. Let Wilson get comfortable and I think he'll surprise us. 4 turnovers in the first half tainted the game yesterday but I have to believe that won't be the norm.

Dude. Be careful about that drinking. Cars probably a little more expensive in the Corpus area, but could be less. Watch for rust. Sea breeze down there causes it. Start with Auto Trader rather than Craigslist. Get something small and economical.

I started attending the University of Louisville as a senior in high school (academic reclassification) before moving on to UK when I turned 18. I could be a UL fan, last time I checked it was still in Kentucky and I generally support Kentucky schools. But as long as the sports program is a disgusting cesspool of institutional corruption. I'm not interested in their miserable program. Petrino still being there is all I need to know. Skunk weasel U.
