Today is the day. currently I’m Glascow with my son. Here very shortly he’ll be leaving here for Nashville where he will get on the bus to go to basic. I’m so very proud but also feeling a little weepy.

I used to go to two really good places in Fell's Point. One was a German restaurant whose menu was more like a book. Any kind of rabbit known to man. And then one right on the water that was a shot gun bar and the restaurant upstairs.

I know the second place, or at least some places that fit the description. I will look for the German restaurant next time I'm up there. It's a very colorful neighborhood, and in recent years has gotten more lively and fun -- as the rest of Baltimore has struggled.

yeap, I worked downtown and frequented all the good places to eat. Even in the late '80's and early 90's the rules changed after the sun went down. Additionally, I went to night school at Johns Hopkins and we had special places to park so you had some protection from the scum.
