Mrs. Starchief (rt) and her sister a few years back. Beautiful (still is) and you'll never meet a nicer person than my wife.

Pretty women marry ugly guys!

Good morning D League from the Florida West Coast. Low today 73 degrees with a high of 89. Lots of sunshine. Perfect for a day at the beach getting your toes in that sugar white sand.

About midway through football season we will start our seasons of perfect weather. Cool evenings, temps under 85 and plenty of sunshine with little or no rain until the Spring. A steady Gulf breeze will keep the air clean.

I admit I am a computer illiterate moron. As I read the various posts on the D League I see a lot of posters who are not. Would I be out of line in asking for some help on how I could post photos, etc. to share with the group? It doesn't appear to be that hard if you know what the heck you are doing. I don't. Thanks everybody and have a great day.
Don't feel like the lone stranger, ask that question a few weeks back and now, I am dangerous with it.;)

I take the easy way out. I load my pictures to FaceBook. If I want to post one of those here I click on the picture to bring up the complete picture, then right click my mouse and click on "copy image address". Come back to your post on rivals, click the rectangular box with the mountain and sun. That will give you a box with "image URL" and a blank box. Paste (CTRL & V) the image address into the small box. Then click insert.

I use FaceBook because they don't charge me or make me look at advertisements.

Listening to the Jones show and preparing to go out to the shop. I've got the bottom screwed together and solid and I'll do the top today and move on to making the drawers. Looking forward to that.

See ya later.

I bought a couple of drawer slides at a piddler mall a month or so ago. They are industrial strength and are supposed to support 250lbs. I intended to use them for the gas burner slideout.

They were in the house and as far as I remembered they were about 20" long. I retrieved them today and it turns out they are 26". My table was only 24" from front to back. I considered cutting two holes in the back to compensate because, you know, it's in the back. Couldn't justify that and took it apart, cut 4 more side pieces and extended the table to 28" deep. That means the top will now be about 31" deep. Think I'll make it longer now as well.

I smile each time you post a train pic. Keep it up!

Good afternoon. Starchief, just curious, what denomination is that? FCC.

A relatively small midwestern denomination called The Missionary Church, headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I was one of nine full-time pastors at that church where I was ordained. It had an attendance of about 2500 and was the largest church in Ventura County at the time.

Y'all know I love ya all like brothers. But the Vols end perfection tomorrow.

who am I kidding? I hope you keep the beatdown under 20...

Once while on leave in Sontan City, South Korea (circa 1994) -- Billy Hirschfield and I had finished an all day reaserch project called "DRINKING ALL THE ALCOHOL:

We were doing our best to observe the local curfew customs but decided to go up to the roof of our hotel to smoke once we got back.....

looking around we saw two unexpected artifacts on the roof

1) A rain soaked plaid couch
and
2) A white porcelain toilet - propped haphazardly against said couch

HERES THE BEAUTIFUL PART

Billy and I looked at this little orphaned oriental toilet ..... and stared silently sort about 10 seconds

then we looked at each other......we smiled in a way that seemed charming to us .... probably looked like followers of Chuck Manson though

But we both KNEW what needed to be done without saying A WORD

so on that drizzly Korean night -- one young man from Long Island and another from rural Kentucky put aside regional differences and our still burning cigars......and picked the toilet up

TOGETHER

.......calmly and solemnly we slow-marched to the edge of the roof.......started giggling like recently freed metal patients ....and tossed that damn toilet INTO THE NIGHT!!

in about 5 seconds we heard that
loudest CRASH and calamity that we'd heard in .... at least 3 weeks

The rapidly descending TURLET had crashed right through the roof of one of the houses below us......

.....there's. more ....and it gets funnier.....but I don't want to come across as a weirdo

One of our kick back pictures taken close to graduation date of the privates. We took one serious and one kick back. Privates are in the back ground waiting. I am the clown on the top rail. Sad part is, according to one of the Drill Sergeants (not picture) who works at the Post hospital, only 5 of the Drill Sergeants in this picture are still alive. One of them, (the one above the message board just above the right outstretched arm of the commander) is meeting me Thursday morning at Rattler to join in the fishing fun.

Good morning D League. Weather report is a carbon copy of yesterday. 72 low 88 high with sunshine. I have a doctors appointment this morning to check labs and come up with a plan of action for surgery if needed. The truth is I would rather be kayaking on the lake behind my house but maybe soon. I pray.
Everyone have a great day and watch for the little school kids as you travel down the road.

Oh warrior-cat, there are some big large mouths and catfish in this lake. It is spring fed from the Weeki Wachee.
