Hey, I've had a day. Got everything done in the shop that i wanted to along with a couple of other things that needed done. I think I'm ready to start my table now.

Looks like it's going to be a rough night here, just had one wave of heavy rain come through, with another on it's heels. I also noticed that the Louisville area is getting ready to get hit hard again. Hopefully everyone makes it through tonight unscathed.

I got the large with a nest, platesetter, cast iron grid, looftlighter, clean out tool. Oh yeah, dude threw in a bag of charcoal too. $500 and that was a very good deal.

Good morning. Got a lot on my plate today. Getting out the hedge trimmer this morning. The trimming isn't that bad, it's the cleaning up the clippings that's a pain.
Need to put two blocks on the underside of my table saw wing. I got the support legs put on yesterday. Just a little glue and screw and I'll be done with everything on there except the fence. Aaaargh! the fence! The last one didn't turn out right because my jointer wasn't adjusted properly and didn't give me a square cut. I fixed that issue and now we're on to Rev 1.

70.9° F here at 8:00 am. We had a bad storm around 1:00 - 1:30 am. I have a whole house surge protector and all my TV's, computers and sensitive stuff are on battery backup and surge protectors in addition to the whole house thing. However, last night my Sennheiser radio head set transmitter got zapped. I have a replacement, but that means trying to figure out why.

I had an encounter in downtown traffic yesterday. Trying to change lanes so I could turn left at the light, lad my blinker on, this **** ignored my blinker and cut me off, pulled up beside him and said

Ha, i just came in. Spent 8.5 hours in the shop. Straight. Table wing was a booger to get level. I got to kinda level, but it became a quest. I eventually won. What i didn't do today was trim hedges, bushes, or trees.
Got a real good start on the fence. It's completed up to the point that i need to get some hardware. Next time i go out there it will be completed. I was going to epoxy it together but i decided to leave it where i could take it apart if i ever had the need.

Fixed a hole at the end of my driveway today. Put a piece of 020 sheet metal in the hole with a 1 ft radius curve on it to patch the rusted out drain pipe. Filled with river gravel and a bag of asphalt. Run over it with the car a couple of times and looking good. Been wanting to do that for a month. FCC.

Back from the Karate tournament, did not go to the grill out, it is about 110° out there right now. Just sitting back in the cool 75° in the house. Ate dinner and am just settling in for the couple of drinks that will follow before watching whatever the the wife and daughter want to watch tonight. If it is a foo foo film, I will take a nap until it is over and watch something scary afterwards.
