What's really wrong with the "darkies are gay"? When that song was written, darkies was a socially acceptable term. We still hear the words of the NAACP. Well as far as I know, colored people is not acceptable nomenclature. All I know is that every time I come in to contact with black folk, there is no problem. They don't seem to have a problem with me, and I don't seem to have a problem with them. Where is all this problem I'm told about coming from? Could it be that someone is trying to sell a newspaper?

It's Kentucky Derby. Time to hear Kentucky music about Kentucky culture. This is perfect. Sad song but it hits the hearts of many in this state.

I really don't know too much about her music but her murder made national news. I relocated back to Louisville from Seattle a few years before she got there. I've always been fascinated by the story. Louisville gal.
