In previous Rumble matches has WWE had to go outside the company to fill so many spots? That's my point.

Two years ago there were 15 free agents, HOF’ers and NXT women.

Kinda. It’s just a new “promotion” owned by Gresham and AEW dark wrestler Baron Black. Probably just Greshams way to make money until roh comes back.

Yeah he just did an interview awhile back saying AEW is where he will be for a long time and he can’t imagine AEW without the 4-5 original signees. Basically the evps/the elite.

Btw seems as thought Peter Avalon is no longer with AEW. He posted that he’s now taking indie bookings. Guess his deal wasn’t renewed. Gonna be a lot of that over the coming months. Marko Stunt looks to be one of these coming up as well. He’s not even wrestling right now, he trying something in music.

Have y'all noticed the current "youth movement" of pretty much AEW-grown stars holding the championship belts in WWE? Hangman, Britt Baker, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy, Jade Cargill, Sammy Guevara (although Cody has claim too), Ricky Starks. Kinda decimates that tired and wholly inaccurate narrative that AEW is comprised of and reliant on former WWE talent.

So this is probably why roh did the “invasion” - save money but still have their “product”


Bryan Alvarez on WOR says ROH will just be focusing on the 3 top titles (Mens, Womens, Tag) & the champions can defend wherever, and ROH will get the rights to air those show on Sinclair, starting probably in March.

All other titles are on ice for the time being.

So they are basically going to be a normal indie, but with a national syndicated TV show then.

Avalon worked the Dark tapings over the weekend and according to Pwinsider he's still with the company. But as you all have mentioned before I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the original folks gone soon. Stunt is trying to get on either The Voice or American Idol or something like that.

Jonathan Greshma's promotion. I heard it was not good. Apparently there are a lot of rules, a lot more than the ROH Pure matches had, and they were making the rules a big focal point.
