Swole is a garbage worker and brings nothing to wrestling whatsoever. She's also terribly unattractive. I don't mind watching Anna Jay wrestle a bad match because of the eye candy.
No way they can take it off Hangman yet. But yeah, heel Bryan is awesome.
Miro… my God. Way better then anything he’s ever done before.
It seems some of these guys coming over from WWE stumble a little bit when they get to AEW, but it doesn’t take long for these guys to find their footing and do good work. Miro and Andrade I’m looking at you.

Cody and Andrade really botched that fire table spot.
Also what the hell was up with Cody’s back? It looked like his skin was peeling like he had gotten a bad sunburn or some shit. Skin falling off all over the place, was kinda gross.
They’ve set a high bar with a lot of great shows. Just felt like this one wasn’t very good. I suppose they were due for an off night.
That wasn’t botched. That’s exactly why his back was all peeling and stuff. He had flame retardant on it.
Any episode with Joey Janella and Sonny Kiss would be far below last night based on their appearance alone.
It’s been a long time though. Again, they’ve set a high bar, which is great. I just thought last night lacked some of the recent heat.
Dynamite did 861,000 viewers and a .31 in the 18-49 for 3rd on the night.

The deal with Swole and Austin Gunn... last week some douche dug up two tweets Austin sent when he was 17. Something like ‘this n*gga Jeffrey lookin better than all yall’ and ‘flavo, tell these n*ggas what’s up.’
Nothing came of it until Swole quoted it and said “WTF!” which got it recognition and then Austin had the race squad on his ass. He ended up putting out an apology letter and the works.
It was 2 innocent tweets from 8 years ago. He’s a rapper and clearly grew up in that culture. If it really bothered her she could have said something to him in person or in a dm but she wanted to make it public. Wouldn’t surprise me if she just wanted to take out others with her on her way out the door. I absolutely can’t stand her and people like her. She really is Jemelle Hill 2.0

I love how the "poison" mist, which Black holds in his mouth with no ill effects, automatically blinds someone. lol.

So, a couple weeks back I decided to buy Bret's book(not his autobiography), and the damn thing was written entirely in kayfabe. Was that common back then?
If you read Foley's first book, he details how WWF would have shadow writers for wrestlers who would just make crap up.
But yeah, when kayfabe was still a thing, he would have to stay in character, lest he expose the business.
It's funny you say that, as I literally started reading it yesterday.
