I am hopping that this cataclysmic embarrassment in his home area will be enough to make him do the honorable thing which is to step away. If he couldn't win with this much talent, he will never be able to win.

A lot of coaches excite me. However, none that I think are options if UK makes a change.

He pretty well nailed our opinions as a fan base. He also said “from what he is hearing nationally”. That gives me some hope that a change is at least being talked about.
Start with Hurley and Donovan and the second tier is Pearl or Oats…but what we need is a damn contract with incentives instead of straight pay the way it should’ve been all along! Such as a huge bonus for SEC titles, fonal4s, NCAA titles etc…

He certainly didn’t sound like it on his post game interview on CBSSNHD . Lots of talk about providing wealth to families of future players. Said he may look at bringing in more experienced players but said he did that with Tre and Reeves . He has ZERO intentions of leaving on his own.
The only reason he turned it down last time was because of his kids. They are all grown now.
The problem isn’t the talent per se. With the portal now everybody is older and everybody is better. Meanwhile, we played six freshman tonight. It’s simply not the formula anymore. No coach is going to win the tournament that way but Cal seems hell bent on trying. It’s time to try somewhere else.
