Caleb Wilson will not be visiting Arkansas as scheduled

Tell this guy to get in the pool already.

pool-fail

Nothing was saving Bradshaw, and Edwards maybe but he got all the chances one could get. He played Livingston about how he should have been really to get to the pros. He couldn’t do much off the dribble.
None of the 3 deserved to start or play extended minutes
All lacked basic fundamentals to succeed

Putting this in the most recent Wilson thread. Do we think Pope/staff does anything with Wilson down in Atlanta?

Caleb has a big blue madness type event tonight at 6 for his high school. No game tomorrow night.

To clarify Caleb’s school is only about 15 miles away from State Farm arena. Cal used to have recruits at the Champions Classic.

Curious how Pope handles this with an absolute monster matchup Tuesday night.

This was like 2 weeks ago but I saw I think on one of unc message boards that he was expected to visit the Tar Heels again. That would be his 3rd visit their.

That would suck, if we miss on him and he goes to UNC. I think if Pope wants him bad enough he will turn it up and go hard after him. Of course, if the price is right.

Shaw just posted a article, and Arkansas is trying to get him to visit this weekend and the Kentucky staff is trying to get Wilson to not take that visit.

Bossi another write just confirmed the visit. So Wilson is going to Arkansas this weekend
Great strategy by Cal to schedule the visit when they aren’t playing. That way Wilson doesn’t see their offense. lol . Read elsewhere that the Arkansas staff have suddenly become supremely confident they are getting Wilson.

Give me a top PF from the portal who shoots the 3pt. shot well and a multi-year freshman PF with good hands, a projectible frame and 3pt. shot, and Ark. can have Wilson - especially if he's already decided to be OAD. He's got a lot of upside and potential, but still needing experience and more development lessens his value in a one year scenario.

Don't get me wrong. I'd still be happy seeing UK land Wilson and play him with (likely behind) a top portal PF for how Pope plays. It's just that I value a top portal PF more than Wilson.

Same here. If CMP wants Wilson then I want him. But if not getting him frees up 2 mil for one or two proven portal guys …that’s fine with me.

Don’t kill me but…..”supposedly “ they are in better shape with Cenac than they were with Wilson and they want both.
Would Calipari play Cenac at the 5 and Wilson at the 4? Or would he instead push both down a position to “showcase their skills” for the NBA draft? Either way, at that point he would only need one more 5-star freshman for his ideal starting five. They wouldn’t win anything, but think of the publicity from the talking heads, ESPN, etc.; and draft night would be epic.

Wonder if it has anything to do with Thomas' commitment to Ark?
That’s been known for a while. I think they just wanted to try to get him in for a home football game weekend, plus there’s no basketball game Saturday so the staff can spend more time with him.

He will probably tell Cenac he will be a 4 and Wilson he will be a three . And then put both of them in the lane .lol
