If we miss on Bridges, I think that spot (the 3 spot) will go to either Alkins or Simmons.
I could see it being Fox, Monk, and Simmons on the perimeter of we miss on Bridges.
I see Gabriel more as a stretch 4.

I just think if it was UK and he wanted to end it like some say ....why not just commit to Kentucky and keep his BBM visit?..Maybe im over thinking here, but the visit change and no BBM visit has thrown me a curveball..Maybe Bridges picks UK and comes to BBM too
As for Giles and Bam i said in an earlier post that i think they will be at Duke and NCST..some just want to see BBM like Kyrie Irving..most knew we were getting Knight and Irving to Duke.....
Okay so obviously Gottfried is not competent enough to land: Smith, Bam, and Alkins on his own which reeks of Adidas help. But my question is why would Adidas choose NC State to help? I realize that T.J. Warren is still young but there last NBA player of note was Julius Hodge. How is any sane person at Adidas confident that Mark Gottfried can take an elite high school talent and mold him into an NBA star who can in turn sell lots of Adidas kicks??
Incorrect. You will not find one single article or quote even hinting at the notion that Young was a prolonged plan A target. Izzo showed interest very early on but it wasn't reciprocated and the recruitment was discontinued well before Young moved out of state, which was long before he committed to Kentucky. Young was not a MSU / Kentucky battle ala Ulis, Payne, Booker and Harris.

You're thinking in far too broad of terms. There's no national effort by Adidas as a company to push players from their AAU squads to play for a specific Adidas sponsored college. Way too much potential conflict of interest there, because Adidas has contracts with so many schools. This stuff operates on a local level, through the people who run the AAU programs. If those people have a lot of pull with certain players, then they're the ones who are pushing Adidas schools. And while it's distinctly possible that Adidas encourages that, it's highly unlikely that Adidas is dictating which specific school.

2) Your statement was that Young wasn't a top target for MSU and that we didn't really want him. He most definitely was a top target for us. Him and Parker were the top two targets for that class. He was just enamored with Kentucky from the start.

My favorite player in this class. Hope we land him. If he does not end up here then it will be msu, which is cool with me. Izzo is a great coach.
It is very easy for him to make an unofficial visit to BBM since he is located in Huntington which is only a 2 hour drive. I don't think changing his official visit means anything for either program.
I sat near msu fans at the msu/fifteenoville tourny game and the msu fans were so bad they made me wish I had it in me to root for lousyville.

Ulis was our 5th choice. He is even related to ex spartan Walton. Frayed feelings.

If he was your fifth choice, then Izzo is a dumbass.
That makes no sense. Were there even 4 PGs rated ahead of Ulis in that class?
He is just screwing with everyone. Maybe Ulis was not a priority for MSU very early in the recruiting cycle for that class, but there is absolutely no question that Izzo wanted him very badly (and understandably so) during the few months preceding his commitment.
Ulis was the #2 pg behind Jones.. Why would you recruit 4 lesser point guards over him? I don't believe you to begin with..
