Why is there always someone bring Duke up in every post? This post is about Bridges not Duke & Giles, by the way Cal is working real hard on Giles.
I was responding to the MSU fan that said they would have the #1 class with Bridges. Whoever gets Giles (UK or Duke) will have the #1 class most likely.

Don't take this personally, but that doesn't follow. First of all, there is growing debate in the media whether Giles, Fox, or Jackson is the top player in the class. A lot depends on whose ratings you like. And if Calipari signs 4 or 5 out of Fox, Monk, Alkins, Simmons, Bridges, Bolden, Allen, Gabriel, which is very possible, Calipari will have the top class. But recruiting is a means to an end, not an end unto itself. Winning the national championship is what matters.
ok, he wasnt 5th...a bit of hyperbole on my part. But Ulis was definitely slowplayed while izzo looked at Derrick Walton,Monte Morris and Demetrius Jackson. Those 3 plus Ulis were slow played and eventually committed to others.

This isn't something new. Izzo rarely lands the bluechippers he is considered "favorite" for at some point. Great coach. Great guy. But a step below the elite in recruiting.

Izzo has won some recruiting battles against Cal, Harris and Payne being the notable ones.
Cal has won against Izzo as well, Young and Ulis come to mind.
They also both lost Swanigan to Purdue.
It's obvious when a fan of another school (or UK) is just making excuses when they lose a recruit.
Izzo beat Cal for Payne and Harris. No excuses. They both wanted those two.

Sorry to the Michigan State troll, but when it is all said and done, Michigan State will not have the #1 recruiting class, even with Bridges. Having the number one ranked class in September when most of the elite players are still on the board means nothing, though it would be no lower than a Top-5 class. As of today at least, Duke, UK, and NC State are projected to have better final classes. And with that said, I will waste no more time replying to the troll, seeing as the aforementioned message will more than likely fly over his head, seeing as I didn't draw him pictures or write it in crayon.

MSU has a 0.0% chance of having #1 class. That goes to UK or Duke. Nobody fears MSU recruiting.
NC State also has a good chance of reeling in a stronger class as well.

Anybody that says Ulis is bad at defense instantly loses all creditablity. They are also a dumbass.
Ulis was a plan b to jones. Just like he was a plan b for coach cal. Let's not act like coach cal discovered ulis.
Losing out on our first choice turned out to be a blessing in disguise, in that particular case anyway. We got a great PG in Ulis, and Mudiay never played a game in college.
