I don't know why we get fooled on every recruitment really. I mean it's always this kid is going somewhere else with all their insiders saying it's a done deal. Of course these kids know we will find out if they leak anything out so whynot just leak out false information a few weeks ahead of when you will announce so everyone really will be "shocked" ? It seems lately this happens on every recruit we're on. Even though this happens everytime, we all always fall for the same bs everytime and freak out over nothing. Let's hope this is the same case.

They didn't pursue the wrong guard they expected Tyus Jones to return. When that became clear it wasn't occurring they were scrambling trying to find a point guard. At that point someone reclassifying was the only option

Not sure where you're looking but he's 83% for the last year. He was the first person to pick Wenyen Gabriel to uk 2 months early and was the only person until a day or 2 before he committed.

Bolden's a stud...that's for sure. For some reason though, I think UK would be better off with Allen. The squad you guys are gonna put out there next year may be a bit too fast paced for Bolden. I think Allen would be able to better blend in with the rest of the roster whereas Bolden may slow the team some.
Allen also would give you guys a better rim protector and would take pressure off of your guards defensively. Bolden's primary advantage for the cats would be as a dependable low post scorer in a half court offense. Faster paced games, I believe that Allen would be the one to go with.
Regardless, it's an awesome spot you guys find yourselves in. Would love to still be in it for two McDonald's AA's this late in the game.

Well, if it was a "done deal" logic would dictate he wouldn't pass on the ESPN exposure at this juncture and the
longer this draws out the better it is for BBN, plus the Derryck Thornton debacle does nothing to solidify trust.
