Bengals-Bills?

You clearly have an agenda. We know you were exactly like this with COVID and masks. You rush to be affirmed by your point of view and then freak out if someone doesn't immediately jump like you.

I don't think this is vaccine-related but due to all of the athletes dying of heart issues, it's going to cause people to immediately wonder. But this is too much for you because you view this as a religion.
I have no agenda, it’s called common sense and not being a conspiracy theorist. You can have your opinion that’s fine, people can debate it’s a message board. I am not freaking out, it’s just ridiculous people can look at what happened last night and think Covid

Scientists can debate all they want, I'm arguing that if the overwhelming majority of those scientists lean towards the vaccines being safe then I'm going to follow their lead since they're the experts. What's unscientific about bad dieting, lack of exercising, etc. eventually leading to heart issues? Just flat out saying that someone is wrong with no evidence to back up that statement is bad debating.
Follow the money, Follow big Pharma and their pull on the CDC, the Federal Government and the Healthcare Community. They say what the dollars and the Feds tell them to say. The ones who stray, choose not to be bought, and will risk their careers to point out the flaws are the ones I tend to trust. That's all I will say about that.

Skip bayless has done this multiple times, his whole gimmick is doing stuff like this to get people going, he isn’t getting fired he has to much power and say so
I really dislike Bayless and Stephen A. Smith but acting outraged over part 3 of three tweets in which he raises the question that we have an active thread on this forum about, and finishes it off with "seems irrelevant now" is nothing to be outraged about.

Bayless is more to do with his stuff as a whole he has said stupid stuff like this for a while, he shouldn’t have tweeted that Katz night but it shouldn’t be the sole reason he is fired, his whole gimmick has gone stale instead of actually analyzing games sports media has become the hot take or just yelling

Exactly. ESPN crew were saying they had never seen anything like it before. But my first thoughts were of Gathers.
Probably the closest parallel one can draw, The Daryl Stingley hit comes to mind only because it was the same sport. I think it is very likely that if Hamlin had been standing on the sidelines we would be in the same situation as we are currently

Read his line of tweets - including the ones that came before the one I referenced. I think Skip is a loudmouth who just tries to get a reaction out of people for ratings, but that tweet wasn't bad at all. It's a legit question to ask - and the way he asked it was very respectful.
It may be my disdain for Skip but I think it was classless. It was a legit question in due time but not while the young man was fighting for his life and nobody in either organization gave a crap about football.

Yeah that’s not gonna fly when the loser of the game would’ve gotten the three-seed. They were literally playing for seeding in the playoffs.

I say the Bills forego the rest of their season and playoffs to process it all. Have them take a few months away from football, it’s the right and fair thing to do for everyone involved.
Let's just flip a damn coin and move forward.

I think you just leave it at no game played. They have tie-breakers for everything so it's not necessary to play.
Very much necessary to play. Huge difference for Buffalo who controlled destiny for #1 seed and Cincinnati for home field through divisional round as the #2 seed if not the number one seed also.

The incident should be shown. The reason people were shocked and said it might not be football related is that it looked like 1000 hits people see in football every year. Some parents might be shocked to learn that kind of a hit can threaten or end the life of a 24 year old athlete in peak condition wearing equipment. It’s a dangerous sport. We know that. But, the risk needs to be known. Rare? Yes. But real.
I'm not looking to debate you on that subject and get into a pissing war. Just simply posting a great moment between Damar and his family is the purpose for the post, not that guy's opinion.

No one cares if you are convinced. But, your claims about the science and the majority is ipse dixit and wrong.
The one study you provided does not somehow make it that I'm wrong. The majority of scientists and health care professionals still believe the vaccines are safe regardless of whether you believe them or not.

These blow hards think they are the star of the show and people hang on every word they say. You hit the nail on the head that sports talk shows are full of loud mouths or set up with a debate style panel full of hot takes, different opinions with some often absurd ones that these people make a living doing. It's why I don't watch ESPN or FS1 outside of live games. Some people will excuse their behavior because they must be contrarian by nature and give them a pass making those clowns untouchable. Make millions a year doing so.

I didn't take it as the panel saying they've never seen any athlete collapse on the field and need medical attention but none of them stated they could recall seeing an ambulance on the field for a player due to health/injury outside of training camp is what I heard Booger McFarland, Schefter say. I remember the former Wildcat Marvin Stone died of a heart attack during halftime of a basketball game overseas.

I think the NFL is waiting to see if Hamlin shows any positive signs before deciding if the game will be played. Probably 48 to 72 hours,

As an aside, have you noticed that they NEVER have a closeup of Suzy Kolber? Last night was another example. It must be in her contract.

Who ran the study, Matteo? And, what was done with past vaccines that showed far less percentage chance of harm? Educate yourself.

Again, that's all well and good but one study proves nothing when we're looking at scientific discoveries. There has to be extensive peer review and until an overwhelming majority of scientists suddenly change their mind on the effectiveness of the vaccines, I'm going to keep believing that they're working alright.

What are you basing that on? Every doctor I have seen speak about the incident have all suspected the hit was the primary cause of the cardiac event.

There are literally 100s of hits in any given NFL game that are more violent than that one was. He got up stood for a second then collapsed. An underlying condition may have been a contributing factor. The facts aren't known (and may never be) I hope the kid recovers and his life continues

Prayers for the young man.I don’t think they play this game but what happens with fantasy teams who have players playing in that game and are in a championship game? I know its insignificant in the grand scheme of what happened last night.

Who ran the study, Matteo? This is Pfizer and Moderna research on their own vaccines.

The secondary analysis IS peer-reviewed.

You are so wrapped up in politics that you just can’t accept any evidence that differs from your conclusions. No one is asking you to change your mind about the vax. Just do so with open eyes.

Again, one study.

In the league I am in a guy who had Diggs was down 1 point entering the game, and already had two points when the called it. ESPN wiped out those two points so he is still down 1. There is like $1K on the line. It would be the worst beat of all time if he loses this.
