Bengals-Bills?

Did Bayless say something else besides this:

"No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game - but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome ... which suddenly seems so irrelevant."

Because I think that's a legitimate question and even puts in perspective the situation going on with Hamlin. The other guy - talking about parlays sounds like a real jerk.

If reports are true - and hopefully they are - that Hamlin is stable and will be okay - it's okay to ask what they should do re: the game. I'm fine if they cancel it, call it a draw, whatver... but it's a fair question to ask.

My take would be the only real option to play the game would be to replay it Tuesday night. And I don't think they are going to do that. So this is probably just cancelled.

Here's a piece referencing his work back in November. He might just be some local guy like Jones who does some ESPN radio.

I don’t know if I’d call that a piece, looks more like a fan run site that picked up a random tweet and wrote about it. I can’t find any evidence this Pagnatti guy even exists.

It's definitely a piece, didn't say it was his site but referenced him is all. Whether it is real or not is up to one's interpretation. I kind of find it hard to believe he is a fake without any solid evidence to the contrary.

I don’t understand. Not that it’s all that important, but I’m not sure how you’d like to see evidence that this guy doesn’t exist. If a guy named Leonardo Pagnatti Jr. existed in any sports writing capacity at all, a simple google search would return pages of results. There’s no record this guy actually exists at all. It looks like a troll account to me.

You're probably right in regards to him be a troll, a fake sports writer now that I look into it more. As far as it being a personal account ran by a POS named Leonardo Pagnatti Jr. that very much could still be true and would just make him some random ignorant blow hard on the internet. Hard to tell that part with his twitter deactivated.

Jordon Rooney is legit and can verify his credentials with other sources in sports marketing. As far as this phony reporter, sick anyone can dupe so many for so long but apparently had a sizable following believing his lies. Claimed to be a radio host from 98.5 Sports Hub out of Boston. Not listed on their site so we know he is full of shit. Got Panthers & Raiders fans worked up as far back as March on message boards with his tweets.

Whatever hit he took was no more impact than any number of hits delivered on almost every play in every game. There’s a reason shoulder pads extend down over the area of the heart to protect the chest.

There’s a pretty common denominator as to why the number of athletes all over the world are collapsing at an exponentially far higher rate than they used to, say about, two years ago and before. But that’s a discussion for another thread.
Ignorant anti vaxxer is now a medical expert. These clowns are all pathetic losers. Go play in traffic.

So you think a a football player running full speed into a guys chest is less likely to be responsible than a stupid vaccine that has nothing at all to do with the situation on the field? People Gotta stop letting damn politics shape every decision or opinion they have

Agree. People who can’t turn off their _____ wing for 2 seconds annoy the hell out of me.

He has a charity to buy toys for kids with a goal of 2500 dollars. This morning his charity has 3.5 million. America can come together unfortunately its usually only during tragic times.

The incident should be shown. The reason people were shocked and said it might not be football related is that it looked like 1000 hits people see in football every year. Some parents might be shocked to learn that kind of a hit can threaten or end the life of a 24 year old athlete in peak condition wearing equipment. It’s a dangerous sport. We know that. But, the risk needs to be known. Rare? Yes. But real.

The vax is not the virus. It contains none of the virus as a typical “vaccine” should. They even redefined the term vaccine. The “vaccine” is actually gene altering therapy that has a tendency to cause people to develop fibrous blood clots.

It does not alter genes. And people were dropping dead from heart attacks or strokes from Covid long before the vaccine was introduced. Sure, the long term effects from the vaccine are yet known.......but if you're going to make an assumption that he dropped over from a cardiac event (which as I said in an earlier post is a infrequent but regular occurrence for decades or longer) and link it to the pandemic, it would be way more likely to be from the virus itself.

Skip asked a legitimate question which people didn’t read until the end. Where the hell does the league go from here? In a couple weeks people will have moved on and fans will very much care about where their teams are playing in the playoffs.

They reschedule the game and play it. Whatever that means, however that works out. It’s the only thing to do.

I Hope this isn’t taken wrong because I don’t mean in any way to downplay the seriousness of this situation. I just had a few thoughts after watching ESPN with Scott VanPelt and Ryan Clark last night. And then this morning Domonique Foxworth talking about how this game could never be played due to the emotions of the players (which I agree with). Talking about these players laying their lives on the line every time they enter the arena.
I couldn’t help but think about what is expected of the men and women that are soldiers of this nation. They are asked to lay their lives on the line in battle as their friends and fellow soldiers are sometimes killed or injured right beside them. Yet they continue because they have no choice. How hard that must be.
I pray for a full recovery for Damar Hamlin. I also pray for all his family and teammates. It also should remind us this is just a game for our entertainment and nothing else.

How many times a game do players run full speed into another players chest. I would venture to guess damn near every play. It's a violent contact sport and shoulder pads protect the chest and heart area as well.

Got a link to show me the "Vaccine" contains the live virus?

The article does not say that the mRNA vaccines alter genes.......nor does it say that mRNA vaccines contain live virus. Now, it's possible that the other vaccines (J&J, etc) contain some aspects of the virus.

Once again, "if" Mr Hamlin's incident is related to the pandemic, it's far more likely to be related to the virus itself and not the vaccine.

But this is all severe speculation and we shouldn't be talking about this out of respect.

I pray for you Mr Hamlin and your famil.

I'll just leave this here for you to do as you wish with.

The hit activated the kill juice in the vaccine… apparently.
Go on having full faith in what the CDC and Federal Government tells you to believe. I choose to believe those who are putting their jobs and livelihoods at risk to get honest information out.

Be that as it may, that still isn't "proof" of anything, that's conjecture. This is like the church lady that sees phallic symbols in everything, or BLMers that see racism in everything. They're looking for it, they want to see it wherever they can. Anti-vaxxers are looking for reasons that the vaccines are a problem, they want to see it so that in their mind they can be "right".

^ Friend had this - cardiac arrest - occur five years ago. Collapsed on tennis court at a club. Fortunately young strong EMT was on next court and a doctor was also at club. Administered CPR for 5-7 minutes till ambulance from nearby station arrived. All very fortunate circumstances.

Hospital put him in comma for 4-5 days & slowly brought him out of it. Unexpectedly, he came conscious with no noticeable brain damage. He plays a good game of bridge still. Inserted a combo pacemaker & defibrillator. The defib has gone off once.

Bayless is an idiot because I doubt many people, if anyone, knew if he would be okay as of 11:00 PM so to be more worried about playing that game was asinine. I can guarantee none of the coaches, players or owners were concerned so why was Skippy?

Believing in scientists who have studied vaccines as their career rather than conspiracy theorists seems like the smarter move to me. We trusted the vaccine with polio, smallpox, measles, etc. As soon as we bring politics into discussions over vaccine, suddenly half the population doesn't believe in the effectiveness of vaccines anymore.

Prayers to Demar Hamlin and his family .... totally tragic.

The last time something like this happened was in 1971 when Detroit Lions WR Chuck Hughes died on the field in a game against the Chicago Bears from Cardiac Arrest

Believe medical professionals or mindless sheep controlled by politics. Man that’s a real tough choice. Most cardiologists believe the injury was Commotio Cordis, which happens when a blunt trauma to the chest takes place. I believe them over you and I believe my doctor who says you people are morons. By any chance are you a flat Earther too? I know a lot of anti vaxxer goofs are flat Earth goofs too, because you know, you can’t trust the government as you said.

Humans are the only species on the earth that has free will. Free will to believe whatever we want to believe. People can scoff, mock, agree, or disagree. In the end, it's essentially faith.

But lost in the cause of this tragedy, is a story of many people who prayed and showed concern about a man they don't even know. It's overwhelming.

Right now he's still alive and we pray and continue to think about his health getting better. All that matters.

Since when is the Federal Government "Medical Professionals" I'm taking my cues from real Medical Professionals, with as many or more qualifications that yours, who happen to look at things objectively as their hypocratic oath directs them to do and who will risk their jobs and careers to report their honest findings. Mindless sheep are the ones who bleat whatever the Feds tell them to bleat and never question it.

So all the cardiologists who say it’s Commotio Cordis are wrong? Doctors you trust say the vaccine made him collapse and go into cardiac arrest after the hit?

You cannot compare vaccines that took years and even decades to get approved with one that took less than a year. Do you trust the scientist that do not believe in this vaccine or just the ones that do? This incident with Demar may not be related to the vaccine at all but with as many athletes and younger people in general having heart related issues over the last couple of years on the rise the bigger picture in all of this is that this may be the tip of the iceberg which is very scary for us all. That’s not political, it’s medical. Continued prayers for Demar.

The comments you are referencing are not directly related to this specific, and very unfortunate event, regardless of what the ultimate cause was. My comments were about the vaccine, it's efficacy and dangerous side effects in general.

Oh and if there isn't a narrative the government wants to keep pushing, then why this?
