In the league I am in a guy who had Diggs was down 1 point entering the game, and already had two points when the called it. ESPN wiped out those two points so he is still down 1. There is like $1K on the line. It would be the worst beat of all time if he loses this.

There are literally 100s of hits in any given NFL game that are more violent than that one was. He got up stood for a second then collapsed. An underlying condition may have been a contributing factor. The facts aren't known (and may never be) I hope the kid recovers and his life continues

I'm not debating you on this anymore. This thread was meant to talk about someone potentially losing their life and it's turned into yet another political debate on this site. I got sucked into the need to respond to others because I was angry about what others were saying so I apologize for my part in turning this thread into something that it was not meant to be about. I hope this thread can revert back to talking about Damar Hamlin and how he is doing right now.

Yeah that’s not gonna fly when the loser of the game would’ve gotten the three-seed. They were literally playing for seeding in the playoffs.

I say the Bills forego the rest of their season and playoffs to process it all. Have them take a few months away from football, it’s the right and fair thing to do for everyone involved.
