Bagley already officially CLEARED by NCAA

Strong words from someone who lives in Kentucky. The majority of your backwards fan base has probably never even interacted with black people and only care about them to the extent that they can dribble and/or jump for your basketball team.
Please go take a bath with your radio plugged into the wall make sure it falls in with you.

I don't live in Kentucky. It's crazy but this network called the Internet allows people to post messages from all over the world.

But nice try on that. You clearly aren't ate up with UK according to your handle.

You clearly are one ignorant ass. What is interesting is we all know you wouldn't have the sack to say that to a Kentuckian's face. Little girlie boys like you and the majority of pathetic Duke students I see at games, write checks with your mouths that your candyasses can't cash.

What's funny is all of the Bagley outrage is truly "faux" outrage because nobody has any legitimate reason to call this shady other than "He only decided to reclassify a few months ago! Therefore this is shady!" lol

He went to a school the ncaa had major issue with in the recent past, and for good reason. But he gets cleared in record time anyway.

Of course if they ever find out the school is actually the sham they thought, no one should expect anything to happen then either.

Who is deflecting?

Bledsoe had never had a math grade higher than a C prior to his senior year - yet takes Algebra 3 BEFORE Algebra 2 and gets an A? Nothing fishy about that?

Bagley didn't have academic issues. He had to complete work in time to be reclassified. He did that - at least the NCAA reviewed everything and appeared it. You really think they're deliberately letting Duke slide?

Corey Magette ring a bell? They let Duke slide on that one. So yes the NCAA will let Duke slide on some things.

I'm pretty embarrassed by several of the "Duke" posters in this thread. I really hope they didn't actually attend Duke.

And I'm always impressed with how lenient this board is towards idiots spewing nonsense. It's about as hard to get banned here as it is to not get banned on UNC's site.

Not every Duke alum is comfortable with Duval and now Bagley. It has a win-at-all costs feel to it and I don't dig it.

Sorta how I feel about Diallo. He came to KY last semester refused to play and then tried every way to turn pro and waited till the last second to return. I got no use for that. For that reason, I don't like Diallo and I will never like him. Even if we win the NC this year, I will like winning # 9, but I still won't like Diallo.

Guess I am old school in this regard. I am not a win at all cost type of fan.

Come to think of it. Why are we even humoring/ engaging these idiotic Duke fans. They came out of the GD woodwork to post in this thread and have probably been lurking seeing the plethora of Duke nut hugging threads/ comments some of our "fans" have posted the last couple of weeks.

Sure it's fun to talk about them and make fun of them but the rogue minority of our fan base is making us look ridiculous.

Didn't want to start another Duke thread so I'll just leave this here.

Interesting read. When coach K was young it discusses a game against UNC with Dean Smith as coach and a team with Michael Jordan and Kenny Smith. K complains that UNC gets a double standard in the league and gets away with things other schools don't.

Fast forward 30 years and...

Well to his defense he had a point. Of course now he is the gold standard on double standards.

I know it looks bleak, but don't forget they have one hothead tripper who has had one above average season, and a bunch of freshmen. That's not a great recipe for a title season.

Unbelievable. Is the kid on the UK roster? Has he got into any trouble? Has he done anything to disgrace the university? Then what is your problem? Good Lord.

He was mad that Diallo came back because it ruined his narrative, so now he's just going to double down on his hatred.

Easily ban-worthy on 99.9% of message boards. Not even being coy about it. Just blatantly stating you don't like one of our players. Should be a fun season with posters like this spewing.

Maybe Cal will start recruiting all white players, make team wear short shorts & have parted greased hair.

JSMH. Ok, when exactly did he "refuse" to play? He joined the team very late; was behind nearly everyone in O and D, development, etc. An NBA scout, no less, told me he needed to sit out, practice, learn. And tried "every way" to turn pro? Sure, he went through the draft workouts. So did Brad. You hatin' on Brad, too?

I appreciate your fandom. But wake up and smell the coffee, Mr. Old School. And please explain how you do like to win, and how did HD "cost" us?

Agreed!! :100points:

"But, but, but... they have senior leadership... which UK does not!!" - Duke fans

I like UK's chances to go further than Duke more and more each day. Lol. [cheers] [laughing]

Come on guys...I'm sure bagley would've been cleared regardless of which school he chose. It's purely coincidental that dook was the choice. Just ask Patterson if you don't believe me...you're embarrassing yourselves w/ all the tin-hat conspiracy b.s.
/sarcasm

Keep in mind as well that before Bagley signed with Duke, the freshmen talent level in the ACC was WAY down. Duke's three signees (Duval, Trent, Carter) were the only five star kid's even coming into the league. Next best player is UNC's Jalek Felton.

Duval and Carter are good players, but no one was going to tune in just to see them. The ACC was completely absent the kind of star freshmen talent that the casual basketball fan tunes in to see.

With the Bagley signing, the No. 1 freshmen in the country is now in the ACC and at Duke instead of freaking Mizzou. I'm sure ESPN is heartbroken about that.

Bledsoe's four-year transcript shows he made an A in Algebra 3 in night school as a senior by receiving a 90 during each of the two sessions. However, a grade report from those night sessions showed Bledsoe was recorded as making a C average, with a low C recorded in the first session and a low B recorded in the second.

By receiving an A in Algebra 3, Bledsoe barely qualified for initial eligibility in college, based on the standardized test score his former coach said Bledsoe made.

http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2010/09/records_differed_on_bledsoes_p.html

When Bledsoe's transcript was legitimately called into question, Rupps Rafters kept calling it a hit piece by Thamel, Forde, etc. Rupps Rafters swore there were no issues with Bledsoe.

Now that Bagley reclassifies....and the shoe is on the other foot....this board seems to be singing a different tune.

Myron Piggy, Corey Maggette, Lance Thomas and his 100K jewelry loan, Chris Duhon's mothers job she didn't qualify to have, Carlos Boozer's dads job...shall I go on with the shady Duke crap or do you want to crawl back to your mothers basement you piece of [poop]?

Can I be granted Mod powers for just one day please? I have been banned at other sights for saying 1/10th of what some of these Duke posters have said on this thread about UK players, fans and coaches.

It didn't take long did it, whether legitimate or not the NCAA should have let it drag out for a while just where it would look like any other case, but because it was Duke it was put on a fast track, sickening.

Actually a good point. At least make it seem like there was something there.

Don't forget the bandwagon fans that don't live in NC and never went to Duke. That is probably the majority of Duke fans in this thread. Just a bunch of bandwagon fans that are upset because their favorite NFL team got toasted Thursday night!

Well, Duke's not really in North Carolina, so their bandwagon fans have that excuse.

They have to approve or deny him in 10 days, they took 9 i believe. The ones that drag out are because of amateurism approval.

ETA: I saw this reported but don't see it stated anywhere specifically on the NCAA eligibility center site. May be more of a rule of thumb than an actual rule.

Can you provide proof of that because they took longer than 10 days to approve Lynn Bowden and it wasn't due to amateurism.

I saw it reported by someone who contacted the NCAA in regards to the Bagley situation over the past couple weeks. I'll try and find it but I believe it was 10 business days once all the documentation is received. I guess if there is incomplete info or something it could take longer.

I updated my original post as I don't want to post any false information.

Translation? Can anyone translate this?
Yes, please allow me..... He said that we cannot blame Cal for recruiting the top guys. What he did not say is that sometimes you win sometimes you lost good time Charley has got the blues. Hopefully, this helped....

I find it hilarious when rival fans make fun of kentuckians for nothing more than living in rural areas....... so I think to myself, I live in St. Louis.... and the massive odds are that STL is a bigger city than where these duke fans live..... so does that give me the right to trash them like retarded ants ??? I mean by their logic it would right?

Thx. I don't speak jive.

Unlike Bledsoe, MB3FIVE didn't take Algebra 3 before Algebra 2. Isn't it possible the kid and his family had been doing all the things to make this possible?
Lets not compare a kid who attended several schools and reclassified to one with eligibility concerns from a math class. You received preferential treatment again. Enjoy it and move on, but don't question our disdain on a KY website.
