Back-to-back Cardinals

Not to get too far ahead, but I just noticed we play the Illinois State Cardinals after Uavel. Did anyone see the controversy in the ISU / Norfolk State game where an ISU fan(s) supposedly yelled racial slurs at NSU players and there was a bit of a dust-up between the coaches? Don't have the details but it made a few national headlines. FWIW.

I would think Reeves will be extra pumped to play his former team (IL St). Not sure how many of his former coaches/teammates are still there, but I am sure he had this game circled.

Hopefully the rest of the team will be ready to play, as the game is sandwiched between a rivalry game and the start of conference play...don't need another UNCW performance.

Actually, I *did* know that but it slipped my mind when I saw the logo on our upcoming schedule and all I could think of was "cardinals". Dirty birds on the brain, I guess, lol.
