There are twitters you can follow that tell your when restocks are gonna be available. Follow them and stay on it. I don't remember what the handles are or I'd give them to you, but I got mine last November.
I know you really wanna get your kid one, but don't buy from a scalper. They're the reason you still can't get one. Using bots to buy up thousands. Make them eat the costs.
But maybe try using a bot yourself.
A friend of mine paid $5 for one and within a week had a PS5. Just keep in mind the kind of people you're buying the bot from...
