4 pages and not once has Allen been referred to as a thug. He was called a punk several times, dirty, a jerk, a turd, but not a thug. Interesting.
Tony Greene spent 5 minutes at the monitor this year and handed us two techs for what was not much more than a heated conversation.
That helped turn a blowout home game versus MSU into a close one.
What was the spread of the Duke game last night?
Does Coach K give a mini-camp in thuggery before each season begins? This seems more than a trend at Duke.
Stupid thing to do. It was retaliation for the elbow to the ribs from a few seconds before, and the "getting way too close"/bump/step on the foot immediately preceding it (which was retaliation for a steal....) but dumb to do. You've got to keep your cool and be mature.

Don't think it deserves a suspension; an admittedly-deliberate elbow to the face/refs pull a player off didn't get one, so I don't think a little thing like this should. It might be a bit dirty and jerky, but nobody is really going to get hurt from this. That's a bit overblown.

Uh, okay. I said it was a dirty play that was immature and uncalled for, and should have been a foul. I understood how the ref missed it, given the time left in the game and the magnitude of it. I don't think it is so dangerous as to warrant a suspension, especially since we've seen much more dangerous actions this season not result in a suspension.

I think the overall issue is that Coach K and his players have been able to dish it out over the years but can't take it if it is returned in kind.
First off, you spent an entire paragraph excusing it. I quoted it for you in my initial post. Feel free to go back and read it.
Secondly, you ended that post with "trash away". Well, don't be mad because I honored your request.
Finally, Allen's dirty ass play probably doesn't deserve a suspension...... Had it happened in a vacuum. HOWEVA, the fact this is the second time in two weeks he has done the exact same cheap ass crap means it may be necessary to suspend him in order to teach him a lesson that his coach isn't.
...and if someone tries to dish it out they are called out by the refs whether it is a real foul or not.
