Do you think it will rain???

Well I have to say thank you to all of you guys/gals that start threads on here. I very seldom start a thread but read almost every one.

I’m not sure we have ever went through a thread drought like we are in now!! I have reread threads all weekend. 😂 I’m sure things will pick up this week but WOW it’s dry now.

Again thank all of you that provide good/bad reading on here. It sure is boring when there is no content. It’s like when your in a room with people you don’t know or care to talk to!!

“Think it’s going to rain???” Is all you can say. Have a good rest of the weekend and let’s get to Saturday night for some 🏈 from our CATS!!!

Two Cats back in NFL

Tashawn Manning and Justin Rogers ( yeah, I know he left) were signed to the Bengals practice squad.
--G Tashawn Manning. Manning (6-4, 340), a first-year player out of the University of Kentucky, originally signed with Baltimore as a college free agent in 2023 and spent his entire rookie season on the Ravens' practice squad. He was waived by the Ravens on Tuesday.
--DT Justin Rogers. Rogers (6-3, 335), a rookie out of Auburn University, was a seventh-round pick of Dallas in this year's draft. He was waived by the Cowboys on Tuesday.

Week 1 Begins Tomorrow: What we will be watching?

So let's get to talking about the season....it's the most wonderful time of the year!

Our opponents:
-Murray State/Mizzou, Thursday Night
-UGA/Clemson, Noon
-Va Tech/Vandy, Noon

-U6/Austin Peay, Noon
-Tennessee/Chattanooga, Noon
-Florida/Miami, 330
-Texas/Colorado State, 330
-USCjr./Old Dominion, 330
-Ohio/Syracuse, 330

-Ole Miss/Furman, primetime
-Auburn/Alabama A&M, primetime

Of note, Ole Miss & Auburn are the only 2 playing in the late window against us, so we should be able to watch all of our opponents. I put in bold the 4 games I feel like will be of the most interest to us. How does UGA look early, I mean we want to know if they look like world beaters early. Has Vandy figured it out in year 4 of Clark Lea...because if it looks like nothing has changed then he's going to be out the door. Florida and Miami both need this game, Florida losing will begin a possible tailspin as their coach could be gone or a dead man walking by the time we play them.

SC we play next. There's QB, RB, and WR questions. There's a Coach who has a warm seat. ODU actually plays P5 schools pretty well. This will be one to watch. After the Connor Stallions doc....many have now seen Beamer's late 2022 win streak was a fraud from stolen signs?

And then there's Ohio....they're playing a P5 opponent. Coming off back to back 10 win seasons...we always struggle to put down MAC teams. This is a really good program, but they're ranked #133 out of 134 teams in returning production. I really do want to see what they look like....because they're an entirely new team but great program with a great coach IMO. If they're bad, it could be another REALLY GOOD WEEK for us to play a lot of players and gain confidence.

OTHER GAMES OF NOTE:
-NDSU @ Colorado, Thursday night: America will be cheering for NDSU and against Prime

-Penn State @ WVU, noon: Neal Brown getting a big home win? Might make him jump up on some Cat fans wish list?

-WKU @ Alabama, primetime: No Saban, no problem?? Also for WKU, TJ Finley is their new QB...remember he was the Auburn QB when they took Bama to OT in the Iron Bowl a few years ago.

-Notre Dame @ Texas A&M, primetime: Marcus Freeman on the hot seat?? IS Mike Elko the right guy? Or will this game be one of those early season FAKE NEWS stories where the winner will be proclaimed as BACK and then both teams end up failing.

-USC/LSU, Sunday Night: A traditional Big Ten vs. SEC battle in Las Vegas. Lincoln Riley is facing heat....new conference. Brian Kelly now has a LSU program established with his fingerprints...Saban is gone....is it his year to rise up and cement his legacy?

-BC @ Florida State, Monday Night: A bigger than expected game. FSU's loss adds some pressure. Bill O'Brien getting started at BC. It might be worth tuning in?
