That should of been the building blocks of today's line.

And remember the line has sucked for 3 seasons in a row.
Yenser had 2 of those seasons and Wolf 1 on his second stint as OL coach. His first season they were amongst the best in the country at run blocking and much improved at pass blocking from the previous year.
The seasons prior to Wolf's 1st season the line was coached by Schlarman. Those lines were not very good at all at pass blocking but we're very good at run blocking after we dedication our offensive approach to going that route. I'd also like to give acknowledgement to Eddie Gran as well because he also started working with the OL when he came on board. A guy looking back is under appreciated in his ability to coach a ground game attack. And I was hard on him.
I put up the guys we recruited in another thread but not many saw it.

This is the 2017 class these guys would be coached by Schlarman for 4 years before he passed. They would of been eligible to play in 22 due to the covid year.

Welcome to the Official Kentucky vs Georgia State OOC Prediction Contest!

This is the 1st of three prediction contests this season: the OOC Contest, the SEC Regular Season contest, and the Postseason Contest.

Whoever predicts the score closest to the actual score wins. I take the absolute value of the difference of your guess of the Kentucky score and the actual plus the absolute value of the difference of your guess of the opponent score and the actual. There is a penalty for picking the wrong winner. That penalty is the worst score among those who predicted the correct winner. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker is used. In case of a tie in the tiebreaker, we have more than one winner.

I will be awarding points for the first 10 places, including a 3 point bonus for a perfect prediction. I will track cumulative point totals and the number of games you make the top 10. This contest ends with the Brown game.

Your post should look something really close to the example below. Remember the ":"s and the word "Tiebreaker:"! Do not!! use a "-" as a separator because some of our tiebreakers will be negative.

Cats finish strong in "salty" clash with Georgia State

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- With each additional game that Kentucky flirts with the century mark and launches a barrage of 3-pointers, Mark Pope knows that opponents will seek ways to try to throw the No. 8 Wildcats off their game.

Heavy underdog Georgia State brought a physical mindset to Rupp Arena and used it to hang within eight of Kentucky with just over 13 minutes remaining in the game, but when the play got a bit too rough, it was the Cats who answered the bell.

A flagrant foul absorbed by Kentucky center Amari Williams and a scuffle that led to multiple technical fouls seemed to spark the Cats, who outscored GSU 44-23 the rest of the way en route to a 105-76 victory.

"I thought it was a great night of basketball overall, all the saltiness and that whole deal," Pope said. "It was a really physical (Georgia State) team, a good team. It was their third game in four nights, a really commendable effort by them, but I thought our guys responded the right way.

"As things got a little more intense, I thought our guys really pulled together, and that's so beautiful to see that as a coach."
