Without revealing too much information I've been told that through back channels Stoops has floated his name on the market for other potential jobs. No idea if this is just due diligence or what. This is coming from an agent within the world of college football.

Any chance Arenas doesn’t follow his dad’s footsteps to Arizona? I watched this video for Ariza, but fell in love with how smooth Arenas shoots and handles the ball. If we got both in 26, I would be ecstatic. Ariza seems to need a little more polishing than Arenas.

What happens the rest of the season. Year 9 of Mark Stoops build couldn’t beat year 1 of Josh Heupel. Just a disastrous result for this program. I hate to say it, but it’s just never going to happen for us. What a shame.

When u just give a 18, 19 yr old kid a large lump sum of money, you get kids with zero work ethic.

For a couple of weeks I have heard chatter linking Vince Marrow and Louisville.

I cannot say there has been any offer, but there is a chance they would try to bring him in to turn in state and Ohio recruiting in their favor.

The only way Marrow would consider leaving, I believe, is if he believes the situation at UK is no longer tenable.

It is my belief that he and others will read the tea leaves for the direction of the program's offseason moves over the next couple of weeks and then we will see if anything materializes.

That is my understanding, but the key emphasis being he is working hard for UK and in the middle of the deliberations over next season that began today.

Have also heard rumblings that UCF could have interest in Brad White with Malzahn moving on.

Reason I’m asking: if we have to pay Stoops his salary next year as he fully burns this mess down, then buy him out afterward anyway, what’s the point in bringing him back at all? It’s not like the buyout magically goes away the longer we keep this going. On top of that, how much money does the program stand to lose by reverting back to the Joker days? How much ticket revenue, NIL donations, etc? Multiple millions per year, surely.

I realize the buyout is a stupid amount of money, but he’s getting it either way and carrying on just kills the whole program. Are we too “broke” to afford that massive hit up front by paying him now and moving on?

(By the way, I believe the wording of his contract states he gets the full amount within 60 days, which is an entirely different discussion on the stupidity of that agreement by our AD.)

Kentucky is one of the schools taking a hard look at JUCO defensive lineman Seven Cloud.

Coming out of high school in the Class of 2023, Cloud was committed to Georgia. He is now 6'4, 300 pounds, and at Butler Community College.

I am told that Mizzou, South Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Florida, and Auburn are among the other schools he is looking at in addition to UGA.

As a JUCO prospect, Cloud could be of more immediate significance to UK's team next year than other high school commits would be even if he's not a D1 portal guy.

Rivals.com ranks Cloud the No. 15 JUCO prospect available in 2025 and as I mentioned in the other post about DL recruiting today, the defensive line should be in focus.

He was re-offered by Kentucky in October.

That's the #1 problem with this program. I think they are scared to hurt the big guys feelings as they may hit the transfer portal.

That is when it went down hill. It showed the UK fans he was done with UK. It showed the coaching staff, he didn't care no more. It just showed all of us it's over and only going to get worse as long as he is in charge.

It's time, let's move on. He will not move on as he has a contract worth a lot of money.

What do we do???

Alijah Arenas has picked up an offer from Kentucky. 6-4 guard out of Chatsworth, California ranked No. 4 by Rivals in the 2026 class. Son of Gilbert Arenas. The fifth player in 2026 from California to get a UK offer. Jason Hart offering every five-star out of that state.

I don’t have the specific quote, but when discussing changes coming, Stoops spoke about defense being his “forte” and how he can absorb a loss on that side much easier than on the offensive side. This was the UK postgame show, if anyone has a more concrete quote to share.

The tea leaves to read there would say he’s priming us for the loss of Brad White, which we all knew would be one of the more likely coaches to get poached eventually. The answer to this question is probably obvious: how do we feel about that going into next season?

Although it isn’t important but I thought the ref clearly ejected him when he kept yapping after they broke everyone up. The ref clearly ejected someone. Peters went straight to the locker room. Anyone know what happened?

Two years ago we were a legitmate SEC football program. Now we are a dumpster fire - and why? Texas A & M! Many of us said it last year - Stoops should have been shown the door - everyone who understands how college football coaches work knew this was going to happen. But we were told go sit in the corner - Stoops is going to lead us back to 10 win seasons. He told us he didn't want to be here by accepting the job. He was supposedly going to A & M for less money too! Just let that sink in!

I hope I have a reason to be excited about UK football again. But the "real news" that is happening is sure not anything to make me think UK football is or will be in a good place until Stoops is removed. I look for UK to lose more money in football revenue this year than they will have to pay Stoops to leave. What a mess!
