KENTUCKY'S BACK BABY!

Hold the hype. This is a very long season. This win was awesome for Pope, Kentucky & Future Recruiting. The world now knows Pope is the real deal and Kentucky is back. However they will still probably take around 8 losses on the season. If we get to a Sweet 16 then Pope's first season was a huge success. Saying they are a final four team or Championship Contender is setting yourself up for disappointment. Now if it does happen Pope should be coach of the year.

Not sure about anyone else but that’s the calmest I’ve been in a big game in forever. Cal had turned me into a raging lunatic as my friends here can attest to. Nice having faith your coach is actually going to help you win.

- Oweh and Butler can straight take away the opponent’s backcourt.

- Brea showed some toughness in the second half.

- Garrison may have the most upside of anyone on the team.

- Of all our guys thought Carr had showed the least preseason/early season. Great to see him star.

- Kriisa is our spark. Every team needs that guy.

- Chandler isn’t ready yet.

- Robinson- yuck. Get it out of your system bro.

- Team full of leaders. Got to love it.

- So nice not being on the moral victory “this team will be there come March tho” side. Eat that plate of shit, Duke.

- Scheyer, like damn near every other K protege, is a fraud.

- Flagg is damn good but “generational” is nonsense. Unless you’re LeBron or Zion, you better be an elite shooter to be a generational forward today.

Did any of the D listen to the post game show, Jack Giving talk to a couple of the players and it was, yes sir, yes sir from the players. One of the players talked about kills, if I heard right, when KY stops the other team from scoring 3 times in a row, that's a kill! I could be wrong, Mrs. M says I am about 99% of the time!!

Experienced players make such a big difference!
This right here. Butler was pretty rough against Bucknell and for much of the game against Duke ... but he's played a key role in a national championship runner-up and hit a game winner in the Final 4. I'm going to just trust he'll get it done when needed from here on out. Pope pulled him when he needed it ... he knows how to manage the roster.
