For those fans too young to remember

I have been thinking the exact same thing. It’s not just him, people use that term to refer to raw athleticism, which is very important but only part of the equation. We have a team full of talented players, whom are experienced. Experience factors into “talented” in my mind. Just my opinion.
To me talent is skill. Every player on this team has basketball skills that we haven't had in a while

I know this is hard to hear, but your side lost. You DON'T have a say. As Obama said, "Elections have consequences. I won."

The qualifications of a justice; AG, Dept head, etc. is something every citizen has a say about. We know this is true, because the qualifications are discussed and debated by all parties via the Senate confirmation process. The election did not silence anyone’s voice, as we saw when this thread rightfully questioned many of Biden’s choices.

"The Tennessee Legislature is not alone in its effort to enact anti-geoengineering policy. Lawmakers in Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and South Dakota have introduced or previewed similar bills.

... Fritts, the House sponsor, pointed to federal funding for aerosol research as evidence of the government’s aims. "

What are the Dukies saying?

I read through some of that. Nothing too egregious. They were mostly focusing on what Duke might/should have done differently. Some were blaming poor shooting, some upset with Scheyer. Here are a few quotes that stood out though…

“We shot horribly but still competed against a very tough team. I tip my hat to Kentucky. They played really hard and locked us down in the second half.”

“I love Scheyer, but he got out-coached in a big way tonight”

“UK is going to have a good season. They are very quick and athletic.”

Oh and apparently there were a few fans in that thread expecting to go undefeated 😂

Jay Williams sends message to Kentucky fans over Cooper Flagg

I smell a straw man. No one cares if ESPN highlights Flagg. They could do a 2 hour Cooper Flagg show every week if they want. Kentucky fans were not annoyed that ESPN covered Flagg. They were annoyed that ESPN aired a Cooper Flagg highlight package in lieu of actual game highlights. Jay knows that, and all the defensiveness is just over compensating because he knows our fans are right. So he has to deflect and create a straw man to argue against.

Caleb Wilson cancels on Arky again

This Wilson recruitment feels like another Brandon Wright saga because we all expected Brandon Wright to commit to the Cats but he chose North Carolina. I have followed high school basketball recruiting for 30 plus years with that said I haven’t seen one time Wilson has given a hint he’s coming to UK.
Like I said, I don’t like it 😐

Caleb Wilson cancels on Arky again

I'm not sure why it has to be a "dream" thought. Oweh is a tweener by NBA standards. Decent, but not great shooter. 6'5", which is small for an NBA three man, but he's also not an elite ball handler for the two-spot.

We've become so accustomed to marginal talent leaving that we expect every fringe g-leaguer to leave, but Oweh isn't even a 2nd round pick at this point.

Meanwhile, programs like UConn routinely return their g-league-level guys. Why shouldn't UK under Pope expect the same, especially in a day-and-age where NIL can pay a kid like Oweh comparable a salary to what the G-league can offer?

We need to change the way we look at these situations from here on out.
Yeah but with the way Oweh has been playing I could see a team promising him a late first early second pick if he keeps this level up all year

Garland allowed the prosecution and conviction of the President's own son. How much more impartial can he get?? Garland has been anything but horrible. Gaetz the freak would be horrible. Just ask his fellow Republicans that hate him.

lol. Going to be a long four years for you.

Jay Williams sends message to Kentucky fans over Cooper Flagg

Flagg is really good. ESPN is bias as hell.
Ky sh** on their post game script and highlight reels. Those are facts.

We call them out on it and they don't like it.
Flagg deserves some hype but Ky and and it's players deserved to be featured more in the highlight reels and post game analysis than the kid that lost the damn game.
ESPN can do individual hype AND fair
coverage but chose hype.
That is the glaring bias and why BBN called it out.

dUKe Whiners and Little B*tches

Their big center cramping the final 13 minutes definitely played into our hands. It would be foolish to deny that. But part of that is bc we forced the issue and ran them into the ground…it wasn’t just a fluke.

Even Cooper Flagg was absolutely gassed and that likely contributed to the errors down the stretch. The late press helped us force tempo even more late, when it typically gets into a walk it up type game and it sped Flagg up. He was dropping in sweat and mouth breathing the final 5 minutes

IF we meet again, I expect their conditioning to be better….BUT I also expect to get production out of JR, for Williams not to miss as many bunnies, and Butler to not be so trigger happy in the first half. I also trust pope to scheme a little more pressure to negate some of the mismatches on Flagg in the P&R game. The reality is, I think we have more room to improve from how we played vs how they played. Flagg played about as well as he could have. Some of their missed threes were fatigue.
Agreed. But according to one of the main dUKies, the center cramping was due more to Carr “laying on his ankle” during that loose ball.

The ankle murder we did caused his cramping
