The weirdest thing to me was one summer I went downtown to get some food, and there was nothing but porshes parked on the street downtown, well over a hundred of them. Some of the owners were very protective, they set right by their car. Some had notes on them like 'this porsche was in a James Bond movie in 1960 whatever'

Maybe they were alumni, it was weird to me they picked little Oxford to all bring their porshes too haha, maybe it was the safe small town atmosphere.
if summertime i’m guessing it was a car show. like you said the town was a ghost town when school wasn’t in session

This is all very familiar:

Just wait till next year.

They won't stay cold from 3 forever. No panic button yet

Might want to see if one of the non NIL kids can shoot.

For the love of God stop shooting 3's.

I just don't understand how every team in the country, except Arkansas, can find players that can shoot from outside. And we look at the zone like it's the 8th wonder of the world.

Maybe just maybe we are still gelling and a little tight playing against a top 10 team in Dallas. I keep repeating myself. We will be just fine. Be patient

This is a good learning game for us.

They'll listen to coach Cal better.

Coach Cal said he takes his time putting his team together. We should be much better after the first of the year.

Looks like we are going to see a lot of zone this year.

I don't think Cal is or ever has been lazy. He just takes a different approach to his job. The best guys play for him because he develops them for the NBA. He's won three quarters of his games at the highest level for over 30 years that way. Don't look for him to change now.

Just enjoy watching a bunch of future NBA players develop and play a fun brand of basketball while you can.

The rhetoric is over, the campaign is over and Donald Trump is the President of The United States of America. His first personnel choices show he is willing to reach across the aisle and also work with the progressive wing of the GOP. He has blown the accusation that he is mysogynist pig out of the water. He surrounds himself with powerful women. He has picked Susie Wiles for his Chief of Staff and Caroline Leavitt as Press Secretary. Two very respected powerful women.

Who is Susie Wiles? She is a brilliant lobbyist and political operative. She pretty much ran Trump's campaign and is one of the few people Trump listens to. The other is Melania, also a powerful woman who is strong pro-choice. Wiles is a seasoned lobbyist for Big Pharma and political consultant. She is the daughter of sports broadcaster, Pat Summeral and has been in politics since 1979. She lobbies for Big Pharma and was a promoter of Trumps Covid vaccine. She is responsible for millions of donation dollars into the Trump campaign. She has strong ties to the Bush family and Jeb Bush is very supportive of her appointment. Susie Wiles has been a very successful lobbyist for China and Russia and will be a big asset in dealing with those countries. But her most important accomplishment is with the pharmaceutical companies and vaccines.

The GOP has been drifting away from conservatives for a few years now and Susie Wiles is the perfect choice to move the MAGA movement forward as it separates from the conservative wing of the party. Susie Wiles is happy to remain out of the spotlight and let others take the credit. She is the perfect choice for a Trump administration.

Jeb Bush approves and Donald Trump is showing he is willing to let by gones be by gones and bury the hatchet.

Yea good try. When she left the Desantis campaign she lost tons of friends and colleagues. She was told if he lost that her career was over. That hug her husband gave her was relief that their life wasn't over because a bunch of bitter politicians could handle someone working for Trump. If you think she isn't a good person then why did Desantis want to keep her so bad?? Hmmm.

From 2020? No move on. The reps have every branch of government and a mandate. Don’t waste it on rehashing 2020. Republicans have learned how to fight the democrats. Congressional hearings into 2020 would be a massive waste of time and would turn many Americans who supported trumps agenda off.
What happened in 2020 should be made sure to never ever happen again. Moving on like it was no big deal is crazy.

@blubo @OHIO COLONEL

I was meaning to ask both of you during all the springfield stuff in the news if y'all lived close to there? I lived in my late 20s three years in Oxford Ohio, going back to Oxford soon to see a couple old friends. That place was funny to me, during the summer all the college kids left and it was a ghost town. Small town during the summer, and then add 30 thousand students the rest of the year.

**as i recall the only alcohol served in the bars was 3.2% beer
