We are definitely better than they are right now, but we will see if Cal changes anything. They are talented. I doubt it though.
Right now the best thing Cal has going for him is Z shooting the 3 from the top of the key which also opens the middle for Theiro and the rest of his team made up of mostly “slashers” . I’m interested to see what he does when transfer center from Tennessee gets healthy. Arkansas fans think he will be a big help , but when he plays what will happen with Z ? Kinda similar to us last year when we were missing our bigs early in the year and style of play suffered when they returned.

Does SoS make an impact on performance (Football)

Just looking at the records for teams with the most difficult schedules this year. Seems like just about every coach facing a similar schedule should be looking for a new job.

1) Michigan: 252.25 (6-5)
2) Mississippi State: 245.75 (2-9)
3) Purdue: 241.50 (1-10)
4) UCLA: 238.25 (4-7)
5) LSU: 236.25 (7-4)
6) Florida: 235.75 (6-5)
7) Kentucky: 233.25 (4-7)
8) Oklahoma: 232.25 (6-5)
9) Georgia: 225.25 (9-2)
10) Alabama: 223.75 (8-3)
11) Florida State: 223.25 (2-9)
12) USC: 222.50 (6-5)

Scouting Western Kentucky

Great preview! I appreciate the insight. Looking forward to laying the smack down on WKU and talking trash to my Western KY friends.
I graduated from WKU and I always want them to do well. I would like to see them at the levels they were with Clem Haskins (60s) and Jim McDaniels (early 70s). At one time I think WKU was one of the top schools for all-time wins, at least top 5.

Summerall could very well stay put. He’s in a position to dominate his G5 group and be in the playoff picture for the foreseeable future.

They’ll undoubtedly bump his pay and most likely make some more money/resources available to football.

He doesn’t have to jump to a middling P4 gig where the road will be tougher. Especially now that playoffs are expanded.

In the era of playoffs, portal, nil, TV money being what it is even at the G5 level, coaches don’t have to leave good situations prematurely to “climb the ladder”

A G5 gig like Tulane, Boise St, etc is probably better than trying to rebuild or take the next step at a middle-lower tier P4. Sure the money in terms of salary is nicer, but the level of difficulty of the job is exponentially greater.

Nowadays it makes more sense for Summerall and other coaches in similar situations to stay put until upper middle class to top tier jobs come calling.

How long do you think it will be before some of our fans OBSESSION with Cal will disappear from our forums.
Dude, half of their team either played or were committed to play here . Couple that with the former coach that many despised . Of course people are going to OBSESS over what they are doing. From what I can tell , the ones worried about this “OBSESSION “ are mostly the same ones that didn’t want any negative talk about Cal when he was here .

And YOU rubes do not own it either. If people want to call out childish, petty behavior, they can do it. See how that works ??? Spending more time discussing another team and former coach instead of YOUR team kind of seems like a waste of time. I only call those out in hopes of not having to see the multiple Arkansas and Cal threads. One can only hope they go away and only have UK threads, at least more UK based ones instead of Cal / Arkansas ones.

There are more threads on here about UConn/Hurley than about Cal on the first page. There are threads about Duke/ Kansas , threads about all sorts of basketball stuff but we're not allowed to talk about Cal ?

So do you not want to hear people talk down about Cal or are you angry at him for leaving or just got so angry at him taking us downwards you dont want to read his name? either way , for your own sake just ignore the threads about Cal/Arkansas.

POLITICAL THREAD

Nope on the fairness doctrine. You need only hold all news agencies feet to the fire to report the news as it is and not edited to reflect specific opinions or emotionally charged viewpoints.
Agree 100% with this.

There's no argument for them to be a net positive for America.

They are a net positive to Democrats and certain industries; that's it.

They might be a drain financially, but they are also keeping the US fertility rates above 2 and allowing this country to grow. This is a moot point, as Trump and Homan are going to drastically change this it seems. I'll remain optimistic so long as our economy keeps humming along.
What would do wonders for mistrust would be for Democrats to all leave the country. 99% of all violent crime is committed by Democrats.

Shew. You seem very angry.
