Reeves played great against Miami.
He scored in a lot of ways other than 3s as well. Like that he didn't force attempts.
Think after KU and KSU that was a good strategy.

Reeves shed that "shooter only" label against Arkansas last season. He pressed a bit against KSt but that's in the rearview now. He's upped his game this year. Can score in a variety of ways and is a good rebounder. Keep it up!
He is not the only person who can score so he doesn’t have to worry about carrying the scoring.
You have to wonder if that wasn’t the problem

He’s a total liability when he shoots double digit threes In a game. Most players are. Awesome to see him not only driving but finishing.
He seems to do his work quietly. Then you look at the stats for the game and his contribution seems much more significant.
Way too many attempts vs KU. He needs to realize he's got great teammates around him.
Many were worried about Reeves coming back and being the number one option on a young team. Reeves pressing is not a formula for winning. Fortunately the youngsters and Mitchell have done a masterful job at setting him up and making his scoring easy. This is the ideal situation for Reeves to be in.
The reason many think he disappeared in big games was because he's not good enough to overcome being the focus of an elite teams defense. He was put only real shooting threat at times last year. Teams could key on him. Not to mention our spacing was bad.
There are so many threats and such good spacing on this team he can operate in open lanes and take great open shots all day. Game coming much easier to him now. Why he can give a quiet 18 pts.
