UKs rise to the top of college basketball appears to be happening in earnest.

4 of the top 12 teams in the AP poll went down last night; including mighty Creighton.

In fact, if FAU takes out Arizona on Sat at 3, Kentucky, with a win at U of L tonight, would be top 5 come Monday. What a Christmas present that would be!

That would be jumping 9 teams in just 2 weeks!

UK is not only due but its an even numbered championship yr ala 48, 58, 78, 96, 98 and 12!

Thats right, 6 of UKs 8 titles have come in even numbered yrs, including the last 5 in a row!

Its our birthright to win it this year!!!

Shaheen Holloway, coach of Seton Hall, was the coach of St. Peters when they upset Kentucky. I don't like remembering that game at all, but Holloway can coach,.

And also, that doofus Doug Edert went on to have a much more lackluster few seasons after he transferred from St. Peters and Holloway's coaching.

Shaheen is gonna find himself at a power conference gig before long.

Heck knowing how things go against UK, we will probably be in about the same spot but UNC will jump us to #7 after they beat Oklahoma, would not surprise me one bit. But hopefully we blow out Louisville tonight and take care of what we can and let it all play out.
