Who Still Supports Cal?

I haven't for quite some time. And it appears some of his biggest fans are finally waking up.

But I'd love to know, after this latest debacle, who still thinks this dude is still going to lead the team to another championship? Or even to a place of respectability? Losing season last year. Losing season this year against real competition. Even if we grant that Ohio is a decent team, he's 1-2.

Reveal yourselves. And do tell us: Why should we have confidence in Coach Cal?

Sure would've been nice if the collective fanbase woke up sooner. There's been no pressure on the AD, because Cal had duped so many into supporting the continual shitshow.

I’m starting to feel about Cal like I did about Tubby after the Memphis game in Maui his last year. I gave up on Tubby after the @ Alabama game where we scored 2 points in 12 minutes to start the game.

If this team doesn’t improve quickly, I’ll call for his head. Last year was an abomination and this year feels like one of Tubby’s last teams. I don’t have confidence in these guys to beat anyone good.

People really got upset with me because I felt like we needed to lose against one of the cupcakes, or an inferior Notre Dame team. I'm not excited that we lost. But if helps to drive Cal away sooner than later, I can most certainly live with it.

This team will likely lose to Ohio State or Louisville, and will get crushed by Kansas. In the SEC, we'll probably lose 6-8 games. And hopefully all of that losing will be enough to be rid of the salesman.

I think after this L tonight, coupled with Frederick being out for the season you will see Cal play Sharpe starting in January.

Yeah, I've given him the benefit of the doubt but, it's over for Calipari. He should retire at the end of the season and go out gracefully. If he doesn't it's going to get very ugly around the program. The sad thing is he holds all the cards courtesy of a delusional buyout in his contract.
He can either go out with a bit of dignity or stick around another 3-4 years and watch the vast majority of the fanbase turn against him. It's happening very fast and if this team fails to make the NCAA tournament he may not have a choice.

He’s a 5th year senior and probably a top 5 pick if he were eligible. He’ll be 19 in May.

Yeah man. Those 7 wins are impressive! I'm sure the NCAA tourney committee will think so too! People love to just drop context and point to win-loss records.
