Lots of appreciation to go around this morning ! Congrats to Coach Pope and his first win as head coach here at Kentucky ! Congrats to the young men who played so outstanding, all of them ! I was really hyped to see Williams, all seven huge feet of him. Stout! Butler .... oh boy. He is the straw that stirs my drink! And Brea looked awesome! But of everyone on this team that came into the game and season, I'm thinking the more I see of........ Oweh .... wooohooo!I hate to play favorites, and this sure surprises me, but I am absolutely in LOVE with this young Cat ! Give it up for the young man ! This thread is for YOU ! Congrats on a huge game, a terrific game ! Wow! You ALL made us fans so very happy !
He's got a look to go with the rest of them.... A lil' swag.... Confidence.... Surefootedness..., Smooth. Surefire. Hustles. Works hard, all of them! Patient. Smart ballers, all of them. Above all, efficient. You cannot fake experience. Either you have it or you don't. Love how this team values each possession! And this team demonstrates it from beginning to endgame. Maybe, just maybe, the "talent" level is perceived by most as lacking for Kentucky, and compared to what Cal brought, I can see why people would think that. But Kentucky is not lacking in athleticism nor in the "talent" department this year. Not at all.
And that's just it, the entire team is playing Kentucky basketball the way we want to see it played ! Way to go team !
