Who does MeBoy think we should get?
Really? You think HE is weird? You need to take your own advice. And stop your constant whining like a little Bi*ch.How weird and creepy a stalker are you? Seriously man, get a freaking life. Insane
Seriously lol this time last season we had Perry and Amari. “Fringe top 20” …some people here are probably still scared of their shadowGLOOM AND DOOM.
CANCEL THE SEASON.
My goodness, man. Is every scenario worst case with you?
Argument Kentucky will have the best front court in college but out front court was pretty ****ing awesome last season. All our issues were at guard and we are trending that way again. Krissa transferring was silly. If he showed some patients. Hed 100 percent be starting guard at this point.Probably will get someone, which will make us even better. However, we already have a noticeably better roster (on paper) than this season, and we did much better than many of us thought with that. I think we will have a very good shot to contend for a title, and nobody should have a concern about Pope, IMO. My only concern is that we are not nearly as strong with NIL as I thought we should be.
I get what you’re saying but right now that player isn’t in the portal one of these stats will struggle. Wilkerson was a worse defender than Brea and about the same shooter. It’s either going to be a big upgrade on def and so do offense or upgrade shooting and dodo defense.I mean do not expect him to perform better than Kobe Brea if he comes here even if he is saved by our system
I love Brea, but we need a player with slightly worse shooting and better athleticism than brea next season
That's the way I see it. At the 1-3 we already have Lowe, Oweh, Williams, Johnson, and Chandler; all can be studs next year and I wouldn't be shocked if Noah or PerryYou guys are hysterical and not in the funny way. We are so completely loaded that additional players aren’t confident they can get playing time.
Loaded.
We're missing a starting shooting guard/wing.You guys are hysterical and not in the funny way. We are so completely loaded that additional players aren’t confident they can get playing time.

Noah and Perry are NEVER going to compete for a starting position. If they do, we're in trouble. And I mean BCG trouble. That's the way I see it. At the 1-3 we already have Lowe, Oweh, Williams, Johnson, and Chandler; all can be studs next year and I wouldn't be shocked if Noah or Perry
How’s he being a stalker by calling you out for your dumb posts??? HahahahahaHow weird and creepy a stalker are you? Seriously man, get a freaking life. Insane
Jasper, Oweh, Chandler, Williams are all more than capable of handling the minutes at the 2/3. And Perry and Noah as depth. We're missing a starting shooting guard/wing.
He will not be a first round pick. Why do you think he’s
3 players in the portal right now are top 10 in 3pt%.The player we end up getting is not in the portal yet. He will be the player that is on the fence about jumping ship and is now heavily considering it seeing that they have a potential spot to play for UK...
It will be evidenced by a top shooting guard that enters in the next few days with a Do Not Communicate tag
I listed them as the projected 6th and 7th guys at the 1-3 spots. I have no clue how you get competing for a starting position out of that...Noah and Perry are NEVER going to compete for a starting position. If they do, we're in trouble. And I mean BCG trouble.
I would still much prefer to add one more player on the wing. Johnson is probably going to have to be the backup point guard as it stands right now, and although Chandler was improving by the end of the year, it would still be a pretty big leap from there to being a key piece on a championship team.Jasper, Oweh, Chandler, Williams are all more than capable of handling the minutes at the 2/3. And Perry and Noah as depth.
What do you know, Rex?The player we end up getting is not in the portal yet. He will be the player that is on the fence about jumping ship and is now heavily considering it seeing that they have a potential spot to play for UK...

Give me Rylan Griffey and call it a day. 39.2% from 3 at Bama the season before last on 189 attempts.
I don't know about "wide open". I think the way Pope likes/wants to play, and the way this roster is looking, no one will play >26mpg. I wouldn't be shocked if no one was > 24-25mpg.Ian Jackson. He said last year that he came very close to signing with Kentucky. His recruitment that seemed headed for St. John's has gone very quiet. He's a guy worth the money Indiana spent to get Wilkerson. And unlike other contenders for him, the PT is wide open at Kentucky.
How weird and creepy a stalker are you? Seriously man, get a freaking life. Insane
Should be cheap too since he's coming off a poor season at Kansas.Yeah I would be fine with Rylan Griffen at this point!
Has SEC size and athleticism and can be a knockdown shooter, and doesn't expect to be "the guy".
Plus, he played with Mo Diabote so there's a connection.
We don’t know that we couldn’t afford him. The staff might have just not valued him at that price. If we couldn't afford Wilkerson we surely cant afford Jackson.
We need a shooter. As another poster said, it will have to be someone not yet in the portal. Jmo
I finally get the JFC in your username. Because every time I read a post from you, I say “Jesus ****ing Christ”It better be. Because if not (unless it's Ian Jackson) this team is going to have serious shooting issues next season. Pope has to land an elite 2G or we are a fringe top 20 team.
Ian Jackson made 60 threes last year at a 39.5% clip in a terrible UNC offense. I would think his numbers would improve here.If we couldn't afford Wilkerson we surely cant afford Jackson.

He just said he's about ready to make a decision and UK hasn't even been involved.Ian Jackson made 60 threes last year at a 39.5% clip in a terrible UNC offense. I would think his numbers would improve here.
Those two would be my favorites as well. The two out there I’d take right now are Ian Jackson and Cedric Coward.
Coward hit 38 and 40 perfect of his threes the last 2 years and he also averaged 7 rebounds.
That can all change on a dime.He just said he's about ready to make a decision and UK hasn't even been involved.
Indeed. It’s hilarious how blatantly JFC’s tone flipped after the coaching change."We are going to struggle to make the tourney. Have to get to 19 wins to feel comfortable and I don’t see where 4 more wins are coming from."
That's you on February 4 of this year, just in case anyone was wondering how seriously to take you. You are either a fake Kentucky fan or maybe the most easily panicked one in program history.
Sounds fortuitous but hopefully you know something. The player we end up getting is not in the portal yet. He will be the player that is on the fence about jumping ship and is now heavily considering it seeing that they have a potential spot to play for UK...

Chandler, Noah and Perry are all really good shooters. They were Freshman however . And generally college shooters worst shooting year is their freshman year. I would expect that all 3 will at least be in the upper 30’s% possibly 40%. Oweh has been 35% and 37% the last two years. I’d expect around the same or slightly better. Which is decent. William’s is solid at over 40% with good volume to go with it. Johnson is a really solid shooter. But will be a freshman. Either way a bunch of optionsTo have the best chance to win the championship we do not have the top shooters needed when the defense crams the inside. Lowe is not a proven shooter yet. Oweh is streaky. Perry is streaky and short on the defensive end. Chandler had 3 or 4 good shooting games, will he be consistent every game? Noah off and on. Williams is suppose to be really good shooter, will he be on this level?
So who is the shooter on the roster we can right now count on to be consistent and effective all season? We need a bell cow in the shooting department if we are dead serious on winning the championship. Maybe two if you realize the one guy can go down hurt for the season.
