Who else is really glad Kyrie went to Duke?

there are all kind of nutty documentaries on Hulu , Amazon prime and so on. Netflix vets its stuff but the other 2 do not . I mean you can find total whack job crap on both . Qanon to anti jew , anti gay and so on and so forth can be found if you look. And I am ok with that . Its up to people to be smart and understand fact from fiction.
Lol at Netflix vetting it’s stuff. Netflix proudly aired a child porn called little cuties or something like that.

Okay so I’m not even gonna keep it going but I was in St. Louis not too long ago and there was some kind of small flat earth conference. I thought it was like a science conference and so I started talking to a guy. I quickly found out these were pizza world people. I then made the mistake of trying to reason with the pizza world people. After a while I left and decided I would never argue with a pizza world person again. That was mind numbing bullshit and I’ve never felt like throwing my head into a wall more than that day.

I just wanted y’all to go through it too, and what’s great is you didn’t have to long. Imagine me trying to talk sense into that guy for over an hour or whatever it was.

All he kept saying is “the math works” “the math works” and I would say “show me the math” and he would say “dude you’re not ready to understand this do some research and come back yada yada.

LOL the “math works”
Lol some of the people on this board need better sarcasm detectors. You had them all worked up for a bit there.

this is beyond just talking about “stuff that makes you think.”
The "stuff that makes you think" or "I'm just asking questions and trying to start a conversation" is just a way to promote hate speech while giving yourself plausible deniability. Anytime some says stuff like that they 100% believe crap they're "just asking questions" about.

"Just asking a question here, but if Jews control the world, shouldn't we do something about it?" That's not starting a conversation, it's a coded message to people who are anti-Semitic. We need to do a better job calling crap like this out, because people hide behind the "just asking questions" to promote their hate speech.

I respect your opinion and your ability to explain it thoughtfully. I disagree with it though. Telling fire in a crowded theatre is nothing like expressing hatred of a group, or misrepresenting them and others taking the language to a dangerous point.

For example, Joe Biden made the case that Trump supporters are a threat to democracy. Well, if they truly are, that’s paramount to treason. But if someone takes that and then kills me because I voted for trump and cites “saving democracy” as a reason, Joe Biden shouldn’t go to jail for that.

It is never wise to strip away at our rights because crazy people interpret your language and use it as a call to action. If we go down that road, it will never end and people everywhere are in trouble of losing free speech entirely. This was never not going to be messy, but the world is messy regardless. The alternative is worse than what you’re suggesting here. We have to remember that.

Canada has already forgotten this and you have people in jail today for speaking against groups without the implication of any sort of dangerous call to action. I wish people would make free speech off limits for regulation by government.
Good post. Idk why people nowadays turn to government for security. Any student of history knows that human ran governments use, abuse, and taken advantage of the people that pay into it. We’ve caught politicians on both sides of the aisle expressing views of disgusting hatred for their fellow Americans based on different things (ethnicity being but one). But BigKari, aka BigFool, thinks it’s the republicans fault.

You want a conspiracy theory? The left and right work together to make sure roughly half of the US hates roughly the other half. It’s left vs right, white vs black, vaxxed vs unvaxxed, etc. The government wants us at each other’s throats so we don’t go after them, the ones actually making the policies. Another conspiracy for BigKari: why did Joe Biden buy a crap ton of Pfizer stock before the Covid shutdowns?

I mean you tell me why I can go out and with certain equipment see 3,000 miles across?

Tell me why people are stopped from getting close to the ice wall.

Have you researched parallel rays?

I’ve never been up there to see it, but neither have you. I’m just telling you as far as the world being flat goes, the math works.

I agree. It’s passive aggressive BS. They think it gives them cover. In my book it exposes them.

The government may be too inept to pull such a thing off. I may be more inclined to blame the media/social media. Now it’s gone totally organic. We don’t even need the influence anymore. The damage has been done.

A lot of people on this forum WILL NOT want to hear this but it’s 100% because of Right wing propaganda. Mueller Report (which was extremely damning but was buried) was only the tip of the iceberg on how severely the Republican Party has been infiltrated by Russian intelligence. Worked in military intel during Trump’s presidency, it’s truly alarming how bad the US is getting their asses kicked in information warfare. Think about it, it’s too damn easy. All they had to do was float completely fabricated stories connecting the Clintons to deaths and millions of Americans lapped it up. Beyond disappointing to see from my perspective.

I know the Anti-semitism has nothing to do with Russia, but it shows all you have to do is float some conjecture filled bullshit to an R and you will have them on the hook for life. Some of the crazies in the party started in on crazy Jewish conspiracy theories over the past couple years, so it’s no surprise to see all this goofiness popping up.
Hahahaha!

Is Adam Silver afraid of commenting on this issue because he's a cuckold loser who doesn't want anyone to dislike him? Or is he afraid to criticize a former Duke player? As a Jewish man, Silver should've been far more assertive in addressing this topic but he's not a leader. He's done more damage to hurt the NBA product and basketball overall after all the positives David Stern did to make it what it once was and have a vision of how to run a league and govern over a sport.

And it’s been going on since the beginning. There is a reason at one time in our history we had up to ten or more political parties and it settled at two. The left for example is already trying to make it one, that’s why they want to promote full democracy, abolishment of the electoral college, overloading the Supreme Court with their ideological partners which will create a pro government judicial supremacy.

Where do people think “social constructs” became a norm? Because the government wanted to separate us by those social constructs. That’s why they want to know what race you are on everything you fill out for them. That’s not a conspiracy, that’s the facts and it’s recorded history.

Although I am totally against party identification, I think the one area we are making a mistake is identifying a real threat to the republic in time correctly. Life isn’t as simple as 50/50. There are times when one side is clearly more of a threat to the values and principles of a free society, and right now that is far more problematic on the “left” then the “right”. It’s why I have a new found respect for guys like Bill Mauer, Jimmy Doore, and even Piers Morgan (probably an opportunist but still). They have clearly identified the “left” as, in this time in history, being problematic of our free society. And further, intellects like Sam Harris have as well, who are very much leftist thinkers pertaining to ideology. Saying anything political is 50/50 is lazy. There are varying degrees in time.

Anytime you have the military industrial complex (Lockheed Martin pouring money into leftists politicians), the unelected agencies like the FBI and CIA, all of big tech, now big business etc pushing one sided message? That is far more dangerous TODAY than the opposition. It does swing depending on climate, but right now I’m not sure it’ll ever swing back. Race collecting and identity politics have the perfect shield to those entities and leftist are abandoning their past principles to use the power it gives them.

The point of all powerful government movements for power and takeover in this country have always been centered around one concept, to create an oligarchy where the power moves from the people to policy makers and their constituents. And because one of our parties is rooted in belief of a power government, it’s easier to make this happen from their side. But guys like Bush, Chaney, McConnell, and McCain also helped create this movement because like you said, they’re essentially on the same side. It’s why the middle class is evaporating no matter who’s in power, this has been a long game they’ve all played.

This is also the reason all of them, from both parties, wanted everyone to turn against Trump. It’s not hard to understand. So anyone who decided as an independent to buy into “soul” of a nation” and look at tweets? You just sold your “soul” to the same parties that have been killing your livelihood for 70 years or more.

Sadly, all of this anti-gay, anti-trans, anti-Jewish, anti-Asian, anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant drum beat is becoming more and more of a pattern as a opposed to a few individual nuts. Societies under economic stress and under demographic changes will often look to blame others for any perceived problems.
The lies have replaced the truth on social media, the leaders who promote the lies are gaining strength, and the U.S. is much closer to pre-WW2 Germany than I ever imagined we would be.
Jesus Christ this is so ridiculous lol. Pre WW2 America was much more exclusionary and closer to pre ww2 Germany than we are now. To compare the two is delusional. More demographics have more rights right now in America than anyone has had in the history of human civilization. None of the demographics you mentioned are being persecuted merely for who they are. Some of y’all seriously need to turn off the news for a few days and get a grip.

One party calls the other party Nazi while embracing more Nazi ideologies than the other. The same party who instigated Jim Crow laws accusing the other party of instigating it.

I don't know what "traditional American views" you're referring to that are now considered extreme are. I can only speak on what I've seen here and elsewhere, and what I've seen is monkey see, monkey do. A man says he's a victim of a stolen election without proof. Those false claims are then parroted as gospel. Another man is beaten with a hammer in his home and a conspiracy theory develops within hours which is then parroted as gospel, again, without proof. I see clips posted claiming that the LGBTQ community is taking over the educational system and our teachers are pedos. Apparently if you don't like someone now, they're a pedophile and evil. Obviously, there's extremism on both sides, but this is the shit I've seen just on this board the last few years. Threats of violence, transphobia, racism, and conspiracy theories which, five years ago would have been mocked, are now taken seriously by a few. That type of extremism is front and center right now in our country and seen here daily.

I know this post will be quoted 7 or 8 times by the usuals and claims of "but it's all the left! The extremist left! The evil left! The pedo left! The election stealing left! Always the left!" will happen. Don't really care though. Extremism here and elsewhere deserve to be called out and not laughed about anymore.
To point out how you live in a bubble and don't realize it.... Hillary denied Trump won the presidency fair and square. Many dems have said they were cheated since the 2000 election. There are members of congress that tried to stop Trump electors from being counted in 2017. Weird how that doesn't get mentioned.

Also, you point out that Paul got hit and we made fun of him for weird facts in the case. You left out that the media and dems immediately blamed Maga Republicans and Q followers for the attack... no proof and actually everything involving this guy screamed far left extremist mental case. Didn't stop the left from politicizing it but you don't care about it flowing that way because it doesn't fit your narrative.

I'll also just point out that current polls have the moderates breaking hard for Republicans this election. So it isn't just far right extremist realizing how far the left has moved from center. The fact you don't see it means you aren't moderate or you are in a special bubble where everyone agrees with you. Tuesday is going to be a huge wake up to those with eyes to see... People are tired of the nonsense. Leave our kids alone and stop punishing workers. You may not see it but the polls are showing tons of moderates do.

Long, but that's what I do -

On your first paragraph, I've stated in the past that the Russia narrative was bs and Trump didn't steal anything. What I'm referring to however, are the things I've read here, on this board. And since 2020, many of you have parroted Trump's stolen election claim. He even said in 2016 that if he lost, then the dems stole it but if he won, then all was fair, so Trump was going to use the stolen election routine if he lost regardless. Many dems bought into it in 2016, and they're clueless idiots, but again, I'm speaking to what I've read here, from many of you who claim that in fact, the election of 2020 was stolen (without proof). You guys are doing exactly what you accuse dems of doing. So, you're all jackasses in my view, both sides.

On your second paragraph, I left nothing out. The intruder was a conspiracy nut who did believe in the stolen election claims and other bizarre theories. A couple far right twitter "gods" created a gay lover conspiracy theory which many here immediately ran with and laughed about. You want to correct me on things, but fail to call out our fellow poster Bill Cosby who said he deserved to be beaten with a hammer. That's a trash post but none of you went after him for saying it. You'd rather have an aggressive stance toward me, I guess because I failed to find the incident funny. In your bubble however, hammer = penis which I guess is hilarious if you're 12. In the real world, an old man was beaten with a hammer in his home. You don't have to like him, but you don't need to laugh about it either. Don't be a trash human being if you can help it.

On your third paragraph, maybe R's win big and maybe they don't. I don't live and die by things like that. Right now, I just want a better mayor for Louisville. Thing is, moderates and Independents broke for Biden in 2020 but in your bubble, that doesn't matter because the election was stolen so people didn't actually vote D. Get it? If you play that game, then your side is never the loser. There's no doubt the far left is extreme, just like the far right. It's okay to call out both extremes, but many of you only want to call out one extreme. In the political thread, the "far right" doesn't exist, Antifa was behind the insurrection, the election was stolen, there's never been an example of violence from the right, and the left are all pedos. That's literally the shit that's said here daily, which was what I was responding to. It's gotten to the point that many here just make fun of you guys for the constant bizarre pedo "stay away from the kids" talking point. The damn far right can't go a day now without talking about pedophilia. Wish you guys felt this strongly about that subject during the Church scandals.

Andrew McCabe, the fbi co-chief, who led the Trump investigation said that "it was unclear of the motives of a shooter at the Republican baseball practice".... LOl.

You are lumping me in with people I am not agreeing with. I know that there was rampant cheating in 2020 but I don't know if it was enough to change the results. I know some dead people voted in Mich but I'm not sure those dead people swung the election. I know Nev had tons of people vote who had left the the state in the last few years... I don't know if it was enough to flip the state.

The difference between me and you is that I'd like for only living people to vote avoid the question. I'd like for people to only vote in one state and avoid the question. Hell, Mich fought a lawsuit to remove dead people from voter rolls. Explain that to me in any kind of coherent argument. Make that make sense to me.

On a better mayor for Louisville... LOL. It's one party control and we see how that goes over the decades. Gary Indiana, Detroit, Chicago, Newark, East St Louis... Keep dreaming on that one. NY finally had enough and got Rudy as Mayor to try to clean up the city and he did... Then they turned on him and the cops and they are right back where they were under Dinkins.

Sure there has been violence on the right but its 3 to 1 with the left right now. Antifa and blm go unpunished and violent felons get let out if they fit a profile. Its like the uproar over j6 yet nobody talks about the blm riot earlier that year where 119 police were injured and a building on White House grounds was burned down. A historic church was set afire and finally the police ran the rioters off.... The media made fun of Trump for going to a bunker at the Secret Service direction and scolded police for clearing out protester after starting the 2 fires on WH grounds.

You always go to the rights wackos but I haven't once heard you actually attack a leftist on their crazy crap. You can say you disagreed with Hillary denying the election but you only come on here to attack one side. If you want to pretend to be a moderate that goes both ways then call out some of the nonsense the left spews because I've seen you in threads with batshit crazy leftist post and you don't call it out like you do the right. The fact you assume people who think like we do are racist and sexist and homophobic just shows you buy into the media narrative... Which is fine, but we aren't buying that you are a moderate.

Turning off the news is the best thing everyone could do.

What? Now way. I read almost all national news papers in the morning, and watch most news outlets small and large all week. Even my entertainment time I reserve for the view while she watches a movie.

And if you sat in another room, you’ll hear me laugh a lot harder watching the view than her watching will Farrell.

Of course not. This is the problem. I like a lot of these guys here even some of the lefty’s (I hate parties but I’m naturally a base right wing type of thinker) but it’s the middle, everything is 50/50, the government isn’t out to hurt you, everyone just calm down, all politics suck, that really, really irritate me.

And it also proves they pay no real attention to anything political at all or have a good foundation in historical precedent. Probably raised by people that hated politics too, that’s why they believe it’s insignificant.

a true independent who doesn’t vote by wedge and is well educated in the political spectrums will usually vote R and D in a consistent fashion during each decade. The reason is because as the party line takes hold and public opinion decides positions, one party will grow stronger than the other over a long(ish) period of time. This can be dangerous if the power grows to a level where opposition has little recourse.

I also find it really worrisome that after what we know about the lockdowns, how it effected kids so negatively, how it didn’t help anyone stay safe, and the ways we were very much so lied to, the party responsible isn’t facing an absolute bloodbath. Even if you agree with them politically, that was a power play and you should show up to voice yourself.

This country is beginning to scare me in ways that I’m afraid for my kids. It seems even more independent types want the government to have power over them these days. And no matter the evidence that it’s not conducive in a modern or historical sense, it’s like they don’t realize it at all. I guess it has to get really bad before people wake up.

Can a true independent vote R and Libertarian on a consistent basis? LOL. I agree with most of what you posted except for the government not being out to hurt you. If you lay out what government does to help you and hurt you.... They come out pretty bad in almost every government in the history of the world. It's why we are supposed to distrust our government vehemently. It's hard to say its just an accident when its 10000 to 1 on hurting it's citizens.

If you lay out what government does to help you and hurt you.... They come out pretty bad in almost every government in the history of the world. It's why we are supposed to distrust our government vehemently. It's hard to say its just an accident when its 10000 to 1 on hurting it's citizens.

I would never say the government is not out to hurt you lol. I believe the government is literally out to hurt all of us.

That’s because white supremacists and fascists are very good at pitting marginalized groups against the each other. It’s called divide and conquer.

the things that Kyrie and Kanye have been regurgitating are nazi talking points 101 wrapped in pro black rhetoric.
😂

You couldn’t fill a high school gym with white supremacists. How much control do they have in media? Pro sports? Academia? 😂 So stupid.

One group who you’re claiming is oppressed, literally controls banking, media, and entertainment and a plethora of everything else. Half of the NBA owners are of this group too.

Merely pointing out factual stuff got Kanye and Kyrie canceled. My, that’s quite some power.

You’re way out of your lane in talking about this but this super powerful group controls the information and programming. It’s why you think the way you do. The group who pushes multiculturalism on everyone else, and stirs the pot, is among the most tribal in the world.

Oh hey. Do you want to invade Haiti?

The "stuff that makes you think" or "I'm just asking questions and trying to start a conversation" is just a way to promote hate speech while giving yourself plausible deniability. Anytime some says stuff like that they 100% believe crap they're "just asking questions" about.

"Just asking a question here, but if Jews control the world, shouldn't we do something about it?" That's not starting a conversation, it's a coded message to people who are anti-Semitic. We need to do a better job calling crap like this out, because people hide behind the "just asking questions" to promote their hate speech.
How is pointing out factual information “anti”?

Why do you not have this outrage when the most powerful group pushes anti-white rhetoric on a daily basis? It’s completely okay to teach college classes on “abolishing whiteness”, talk about needing to kill whites on twitter with no problem, but the moment someone doesn’t bow down or simply pulls back the curtain and it’s a rush to destroy that person.

That’s power.
