When Reed Sheppard was on the court...

How was Reed impeded by Cal, when the last 2/3 of the season he was playing close to 35mpg? I’m not defending our prior coach, I do not think he was a good coach; but most games Reed and Reeves played the most minutes. You can debate whether or not him starting led to slow team starts and how much that impacted winning. But (except for 1-2 games) Reed played about the most you want your best player playing.
Yes and No I think. At that level of competition the brain makes up a lot of what happens. Confidence and swagger lead to not being nervous. Confidence from the coach helps you believe. Cal could or would NOT SETTLE on who our big was. He played all three equal minutes almost in the Oakland loss. You gotta let someone be the MAN and develop confidence. Not starting Reed ,Rob and dilly together let them know they WERE NOT THE BEST PLAYERS. I have played poker and cornhole at a high level. I was incredibly confident here at our local casinos. I played in the WSOP once and was a scared little bitch out there. Confidence matters. Calipari took it away from his best players with his stupid moves. You can’t be coming off the bench and think. I’m THE MAN!!

At the end of the day, this was a terrible defensive team. It was a terrible defensive team with any lineup that was inserted.
