What could this be?

Seems the kid has bounced around a lot and received a lot of interest from many interests. I‘m wondering why he hasn’t landed somewhere yet.
He was deciding whether to go to the G-League/Team Ignite. I mean he's not flashy in terms of a name but leading a league in scoring when you play against 2 guys who are projected to go in the top 10 of the next NBA Draft isn't awful and his growth spurt with his skill set has him on NBA radar.

No idea why the delay? But he'd certainly not be a bad addition to the roster at this point. Not many versatile 6'9 guys out there with his ability. Does this mean he'll be a Cat? No. But would it be a surprise and one that someone named "Phresh Sinatra" may think is a special one? Think so since he seems to cover these guys in EYBL/OTE and is in Grassroots basketball.

Again this is a personal guess/speculation. Doesn't mean Kentucky is involved or lost out etc...because I'm just trying to piece this together after reading that last night. There's been some positive buzz today about Reeves/Jones so that may be making people happier but could be someone none of us knew was thinking of moving on too. Have to wait but thought this was an appropriate time to share who I was guessing and if the guy were to announce at Midnight or something--apologize if it was him but told everyone I'd tell you who I was guessing it could be, so here it is.

We need bodies but watching some video on him he didn't look very impressive and doubt he helps us this season at all if he comes.
He's someone you may look at in the same boat as Joey Hart. But he did set a record in his first OTE game of dropping 42 pts and led a league with Thompson Twins, Dillingham, and several other highly regarded college/pro names in scoring at 27 ppg. SEC programs offered/signed him so he's seen as worthy of playing in the conference.

Most of what I have heard about David Jones is that's he's likely a Memphis lock.Did you hear something different?

Appreciate all the information Ralph. When looking last night at the Phresh guy’s IG this kid is on there but he was very hard to find much on besides the Ole Miss decommitment so appreciate your posts tonight.

Maybe not but ANY live body who has played a minute of college basketball is a welcome addition to our roster.

Brendan Canada and Walker Horn will be getting 5 to 10 minutes a game as of right now.
It would have to be a lot more than that as is.
