My guess will be, if nil is regulated
And a max per team is installed we will see two huge changes occur. One instead of rosters increasing to 105 they will reduce to 60 or less. Second, a 12 game conference only or same level opponent schedule will happen.
Why? 1. Fewer players means more money for the better players- players will rather be paid $250K instead of $125K as an example. 2. Fewer coaches needed and thus less operating expenses. 3. Better opponents will mean higher ticket prices and everyone involved will see incomes increase- players, coaches, etc. 4. Playoffs will be for top 16 teams - maximum of 48 teams will even be eligible for playoff consideration. Possibly 8 team get into playoffs automatically and then 16 teams will play for other 8 spots. In reality an NFL model is coming.
