He stays quite about the criminal and immoral behaviors at UL yet promotes those behind it. Shows how credible and hypocritical person he is. Licks Roy's butt and is always backing coaches and colleges that are criminal in nature. Wants to be the good ole boy with coaches and schools.

USF strikes apparel deal with Adidas

USF announced it has reached an eight-year partnership with Adidas that begins next summer.
At the core of the contract — effective July 1, 2018 — Adidas will supply USF with $2.8 million in product (from uniforms to footwear to accessories) and $150,000 in cash annually. It will give an additional $300,000 in product during the first year of the agreement.
With Adidas, USF can earn up to $600,000 a year in bonus merchandise (for exceeding annual purchase volumes) and up to $500,000 a year in cash bonuses for the performance of its teams and coaches.
The contract also states if USF becomes a member of a Power Five conference during the life of the deal, Adidas agrees to renegotiate it "to account for any proportional increase in value and/or exposure due to such membership."
Any such renegotiation almost certainly would represent a windfall for USF. Louisville agreed to a 10-year, $160 million extension with Adidas this past summer.
If USF fans and administration have the same type of Little Brother psychosis that UofL always has had then it could work. Jurich parlayed their inferiority complex into all those athletics buildings and the ability to personally line his pockets with cash. I seriously doubt that the Tampa media would be beaten into submission by Jurich's bullying as the Louisville media was.
Tampa of course is a Professional sports town. Their citizens don't need USF to pull for. They do not need USF building up a Potemkin village along I-75 to make it look impressive for the out of town travelers. And of course I do not know USF history with regard to its academics or having Presidents who are crooked. We'll just have to wait and see.

Exactly, Tampa is a professional sports town and USF would still be #3 in the city for college sports behind UF and FSU. That is not going to change.

For RP to kiss and make up with Adidas, then I would think he would have to admit wrongdoing. There's a better chance of hell freezing over, than that happening.
