True, but they were placed in the overall #1's region with Duke as their 2nd. On paper, they should have been killed.
 
A 2 seed that never should have been a 2.
While we play a 3 seed that probably could have been a 1 IMO.

Bracket matrix had them as the #5 overall team and they led the country in quality wins. I don't disagree with you about UCLA, but it's not fair to call USC's bracket "weak."
