This is similar in many ways to big city politicians with the local media in their back pocket. Everyone covers for everyone, and when the scandals break national they're usually caught off guard and can't comprehend the scale and magnitude of the situation. Baltimore riots and their mayor's actions are a great example.

It is incapable of using logic and reason. It thinks it is smart when in fact everything it writes is inane drivel. Amusing, sort of in the same way that chimps are amusing when they fling poo all over each other. Sadly amusing in a pathetic, unclean, disgusting, visceral way.
I'll give Tom Jurich credit. He wanted a big-time athletics department, and he got it, complete with all the scandals that come with a nouveau-riche newcomer to the adult table. From the Foundation fiasco with President Ramsey, to the return of Petrino, to Pitino and Sypher, to vacating their title because of plying players with whores, UL is about 5-10 years away from being the subject of an ESPN 30-for-30 cautionary tale on the dangers of a college athletics department getting rich quick. They're every bit as bad as Miami in the 1980's.

Hopefully you're referencing the pervase and illegal accts at uf of smell. Yes, they were illegal and worthy of prosecution. Apparently, the judiciary of ky doesn't find cause for prosecution. Oh well. Carolina is still guilty as hell.

Fellas, I've got bad news. I checked the UofL Scout board and it seems that they have decided the appeal will work. The NCAA will vacate a few games but leave the banner.

Having the University of Louisville in the Commonwealth is a true detriment. Is there any chance Kentucky could sell Jefferson County to Indiana and get rid of the cancer once and for all?
All of this is speculation and conspiracy theory. UL's banner will come down. Late appeals never work unless the petitioner has the upper hand on a point of law. Which certainly isn't the case here.
I was just channeling my end of week, high stress job with alcohol. Not advising,or condoning but life can be hard. If my drinking and textiing lef to some grammatical errors, so be it. Come Tuesday, I only work 4 days a week, I will still be called Dr, perform high quality patient care at a conscientious and concerning level, and be a ky fan.

Not sure how you can vacate some games and not others. You can't pick and choose unless the games are from different season.

It will be interesting to follow what happens to Louisville. I am one of the conspiracy theorists in that I believe the decision being made regarding the UNC**** case bears on this. The decisions are too close, too egregious against what the NCAA should stand for. If they plan to let UNC**** off lightly, they'll have to let Louisville off lightly. If they plan on punishing UNC****, they will carry through with vacating Louisville's title.

Katina Powell clearly stated that 2013 players were involved in sexual acts, and everything she has stated, has turned out to be more credible than the stuff that came from UofL.
I don't see how this argument from them carries any weight.

Of course If they'd have been busted sooner or would have self reported while the players were still at the school, there is a chance the players could have been reinstated, but the FACT is that these dispicable acts went on for YEARS and the players are GONE!!
You can't retroactively rule players ineligible and the reinstate them after their eligibility has expired!!
