UK vs Vanderbilt Game Thread

NEVER FAILS every time Wheeler is on the floor in the last 3 minutes he ends up with the ball at the end of the shot clock, WHY CAL??!!!!!!!
That's why fans get on Wheeler so much. He ends up trying to force something late and in close games it ends up costing us. He has to be looking for others late. Cal has to keep him out at the end or run better stuff for others.

lol... we shot TWO free throws tonight. Vandy finished with FIVE fouls.
And we still boat raced them.
Led by 9 at half, 20 in the 2nd half and won by 16.
The line was 6.
UK has not only won 4 straight in the SEC but we have covered in each of those wins too.
Kansas better lace em up tight Sat. night.
This team is a force.

Wheeler played a good game IMO. He was handed the ball with 2 seconds on the shot clock on one of those shots. I thought he was solid. If he plays under control he is an asset.

Not a force by any means but they're trending in the right direction.

Maybe most complete game of year. Vandy had been playing some sneaky good basketball lately. And only shot 2 FT’s. Everybody who played had some good moments. That’s the niche Wheeler can have on this team. He’s needed. Would love to get Collins and Thiero going as well. Now if Cal would listen to us Bennies and stop taking the air outta the ball at the under 5 minute mark we may have something.

Every team in the country does this under 5 minutes with a big lead.
No they don't. Most coaches will keep running their offense and try to blow you out.

Cal is one of the few old school coaches who still grind their offense to a halt in the last 4 minutes with a lead.

I’ll take a road win like this any day, especially in that goofy gym.
👍 !

UK wins easily despite another random dude playing like Steph. Kentucky must be running one of those "Star for a Day" programs.
