We had 67 points with 5:51 to go. We have 69 points at game end. We all saw it - Cal slowed the team down and we focused on burning clock vs running offense. We were in no danger tonight up 20 at that point. But this shit gets you beat by good teams when you try to do it with a narrower margin.
Arguably the best complete game we've played all year. It's Vandy but it's a good road win in a weird venue. I'll take it. On to Kansas!

Games are a lot shorter when you don't call fouls on one team.

I'll take a 16 point win there for sure especially with the bullshit fouls and that one dude shooting his wad.
It's not just sec refs... It's all refs.. they call conference games different in order to make close games and upsets. They are instructed to do this .

That needs to stop then. That's altering the damn game. And that violates the integrity and spirit of the sport.
When we run it with Wheeler on the court it almost never works. Would rather see us stick with our closing lineup. If he’s just trying to keep Wheeler’s confidence up I get it, but he can’t be fooled into thinking Wheeler is any kind of answer.
Because they give it back to him for no reason other than making a play themselves. He took 2 shots with 2 seconds and clock running down. Not his fault. It is weird how they throw it back to him, when there were shots there.
We are six strong and thats about it.
But guess what? 4 of those six are bad ass guards and the other two are giant monsters inside.
